What is the deal with people liking RoTs as much, or more than AoTc? The two films are so similar, you can barely tell them apart! While AOTC has an incredibly gay second act, ROTS is no slouch in the gayness department. And while AOTC is somewhat entertaining for the last 40 minutes, ROTS completely falls apart at that point by trying to get the whole universe in place so there wouldn't be plot holes.

In conclusion, fuck these movies.

i'll admit, there is a certain homo subtext in Revenge of the Sith. Palpatine can be seen as an old vamp who wanted new flesh (going from Count Dooku to Anakin), but anything can be seen as having a gay layer to it if you analyze it enough.

other than that, i basically LOVED Revenge because Ian McDiarmid gave a fantasically over the top perfomance as Palpatine/Darth Sidious. he made the movie, imo. the evil laughs, the vocal inotations, and everything else he did made one deliciously evil character.

Does ROTS have a painful (cough)"love"(cough) scene? Or, well..."I hate sand"... 'Nuff said. RotS > AotC.

I like the films for what they are, but they could've been so much more...
