Are any STDs, besides HIV, painless?

    for example, I heard herpes is painful and Chlamydia makes it burn when you pee, etc.

    It is possible to carry any number of STDs without obvious symptoms, moat especially Syphilis.

    Every responsible, sexually active person owes it to him/herself to get a full panel done every twelve months, ideally every six.

    The majority of STDs (or STIs as they are now called) are transmitted by people who have never shown symptoms, and therefore, did not know that they had them. Curable infections like chlamydia, gonorrhea, etc are often asympomatic in people with strong immune systems. I have read that HPV and herpes can be painful for some.
