I think the problem with magnums is that they're marketed towards bigger dicks as if they're all the same.

The name is definitely marketing in action, and depending on what style of magnum you're talking about, they would probably do a better job just branding them by profile -- aka "large flared tip" or something like that.

But it will never fly in a consumer society like ours! :biggrin1:

Only 3 size penises. Regular, Large and XL.
The sizes of an order of fries at MacDonald's.
Which is why the concept behind the "TheyFit" condom is good marketing.
Providing what the consumer wants and needs.
Not perfect but still an improvement.

But they don't do a good job of explaining how they are bigger.
Maybe because it results in someone buying a box of the wrong size and finding out the hard way they just purchased something they cannot use.
I am sure they sell a lot to men too small to fill them out.
Wallet dressing.

I was breaking regular condoms too often for comfort. Magnums solved that. They're definitely bigger.

once is too often for comfort
but with me it was more than once which was a pattern not repeated with the magnums

TheyFit condoms are no longer available. They have been pulled out of production for some time now. A few sizes may still be available, but only for a couple of weeks. As of the end of this month, no further inventory will be sold, and the existing inventory has an expiration date of April 2010.

The good news is that a new line of TheyFit condoms with more sizes (according to rumor) will hopefully be available late this year: Condomania Online | TheyFit Sized-to-Fit Condoms

Agree somewhat w/ the OP. I think Durex has a few more "legit" models. Speaking of,... found some "Kimono" brand in a San Francisco shop, that claimed to have a "large tip". Laughably a lie. Noticed when I put it on, and then when I came most of my load ran down the inside of the condom.

Condommania (I believe) was recommended here awhile back, and their website is awesome... well done on sizes, fits, styles, tips, etc...

Only time I've ever broken a condom was when I was trying to make do with a regular. I've used magnums on vaginas, asses, with/without lube, etc and have never had a problem. It's not just an ego or even a comfort thing (although nobody likes the sensation of that tight ring being rolled and stretched down your shaft); it's an issue of condom integrity. The more they're being stretched, the less friction they can endure.

Personally, I couldn't tell the difference between Regular condoms and Magnum condoms. I've broken both. Now when I found out there was something called Magnum XL I jumped at them. Those really make a difference for the girth. When I wore the regular Magnums I patted myself on the back because I said I'm big and these are big condoms, but they always felt tight like I was choking. The Magnum XLs really can make a difference if you're wider.

For the girthy ones, I usually find the Durex Comfort a better fit than the magnums. They are flare tip with a diameter of 56mm.

Try them....I never considered myself huge....but I am 6" in girth and the Magnums were much more comfortable. Regular condoms were just too tight.

I dont get Magnum XL's at all. BF is very girthy and those things just kept rolling up. I mean he's not like super horse hung so I dont know why they dont make them girthier instead of bigger at the tip.

I've always thought it was not necesssary to buy larger condoms because even the smallest condom will fit over your skull, but few months ago i bought a trojan magnum XL package and it's still tight but close to a perfect fit.

I can see what you're saying since I thought that as well. I remember when I got some regular magnums after my first sexual encounter went wrong since I found out regular condoms don't fit. The regular magnums did fit, but i noticed that the size difference between regular magnums and regular condoms wasnt that big of a difference. I mean, yeah they are a bit bigger, but I understand what you're saying.

Magnums do have more girth. the problem with most guys, their cock is tapered, gets wider towards the base. this causes the condom to roll up. for myself, I found if I worked the condom all the way down my shaft as far as it would physically go, and sort of jammed it, pushed it down, it stayed. took a little longer, but worth it.

Been 4 days, no report from the OP yet.

I, too was worried they might fall off. Magnums had only been out only a short while when I bought my first pack. I knew nothing about them, except they were supposed to bigger. When I got home...well, the wife was aware I was getting them,.. she was my little nympho at the time, which I sure enjoyed. and she needed fucking. after some hot foreplay, and a short BJ, it came time. I said,"I hope it doesn't fall off." the wife said, "Honey, you'r so big, it won't fall off." and it didn't, none ever have, some rolled up a little, until I figured out the above. we used that 3 pack of Magnums that day. I went back the next day and bought a dozen. Had the same young female cashier for both purchases. she was so embarassed, I guess. she couldn't look me in the eye, could hardly speak, sneeked a glance at my bulge, then quietly, "you were here yesterday....so you're big(almost a whisper)?" "yes" was all I could day.

Magnums and Magnum XLs both have a substantial flare. I am tree-trunk shaped as well so a more cylindrical condom worked better for me. The LifeStyles XL is a wider condom without the flare.
