I believe you may be right to some degree. And I remember being callous myself on more than one occasion. (I had absolutely no idea what boys were going through.)

However, it's so extensive (apparently) that I don't know if this is a "nuture" situation, which is what your theory would indicate.

Okay, this is disturbing on several levels, but I will stick to one. First, if we are to follow this logic, than in reverse, women who have been hurt and/or humiliated by men would then want to watch porn where men are treated as sex toys/whores and sluts for taking it, (it being sex of any kind) by a woman. So, is this true? It's worth mentioning that there is a multitude of types of porn for a multitudes of tastes - personally I have never really had much interest in sadism or porn that it actively demeans a woman.
