I was just wondering if there's any difference between straight and gay guys feelings about their circumcision status. Are gay guys more or less likely to be happy or unhappy having been cut?

I would say that if I were cut, I would be more sorry about it as a gay guy because gays enjoy dick more and there is so much more to enjoy if you are intact, while a woman would not care as much probably so straight guy could hate his parents less for having him cut...

Have no idea. Haven't found men all that concerned about this except here on the internet. Some men may mention it but in most cases on both sides they seem most concerned with function and size and size only to the degree of if it's enough to reach in and function.

With so many options, it'll take you an age to get enough answers with any statistical validity.
Why do you make people reveal their identitites?
Why do the questions vary between "circumcised/uncircumcised" and "cut/uncut"
Those will both skew the outcome in unpredictible ways. The first, towards more exhibitionistic, less reclusive guys, who may differ from the general population, the second according to their views on circumcision. The first rule of poll design is that questions should be neutral.

From the written responses, there should have been a "don't care" option, if not six....

Circumcision is the same whether you're straight or gay. Although there may be more gay guys willing to talk about their dicks than straight guys.

first of all straight here and cut.....never really gave it much thought till i had kids.......ol girl and i debated cut or uncut....still a toss up

on one hand wish i was uncut cause that extra skin had got to provide some sensation...i dont know any skin that dont

on the other had when i was in the army humping around the bush for 90 days a pop glad i was cut....even cut i got crotch rot from time to time......i imagine an extra warm wet plac loaded with smegma would be ripe for infection

yes yes i know it could be cleaned...but in army...hump around soulth america for 21 hrs...and ya get three hours to sleep eat and wash....trust me something get cheated

final choice on the boys....you can always take off later...cant really put back

so i went with uncut.....they could make there own choice later.....however one sons foreskin got pulled back and stuck....came to us crying (age 2) and head was all purple....he ended up getting emergency circ.....

would be great to see this get more votes.. but i agree a dont care option would of been good or a never thought about it

i bet there are cut guys out there still that have no clue anything was done to them.. if cut is all they've ever known or seen.. especially if they are str8 and dont look at dicks in porn and stuff

A complete guess, but I would not be surprised if it was slightly more common for gay guys to be more concerned about it because of the higher chance of coming into direct contact with an intact penis. Straight guys are more likely to never experience a difference, and thus not really think anything of it, beyond maybe seeing someone at a gym. A gay guy on the other hand could directly experience the functional difference if he has sexual contact with an intact guy.

Granted, I think gay or straight some people might struggle with the idea that they didn't get to make a choice, regardless of their personal experiences.
