You see, I'm (luckily) one of those people who has never had to be confined to one place; although I know some people appreciate and prefer the stability of living in one area/city for their entire lives. I don't agree with this personally, but I'll never look down on anyone who does. I like traveling, living in different places, seeing new things.... and if I can accomplish this through work travels, instead of having to do it on my own leisure time (or dime), all the better.
I've lived in Houston, south Texas, east Texas, Oklahoma, Montana, Louisiana, Kosovo, and Utah. I've been to over 30 states in the U.S. I've also visited some amazing places overseas most will only ever read about in history books.
I took the stairs on the Eiffel Tower (as far as they extended before elevator was the only option), I walked barefoot on the beaches of Normandy the day after the 55th anniversary of D-Day, I have walked in the halls of Chateau de Versailles, I have walked through Le Mont Saint Michelle, I have touched and walked on part of the original wall built by Alexander The Great in Macedonia. I have been on historical sands in the middle east (this wasn't so pleasant), I have been in the real Moulin Rouge, I have stood under L'Arc de Triomphe, I have stood on the battlefield of the Little Big Horn, I have visited historic battlegrounds around the US from the War Between the States, and I still have a piece of the original Berlin Wall....... and may other wonderful experiences.
So while you implying me leaving "because people hated me" may bring you satisfaction, I left and have always moved around because **I** like it. I don't enjoy being "stuck" in one place at all. Please try your best to insult me further for something you know nothing about.
