And vice versa in my experiance. You get a different attitude entirely once you have your own 'nappy-wearer' in the family about some things btw

Things have changed since I was the age of the OP, but I don't see it as a bad thing. Far from it: women are much more likely to speak their own minds rather than nag obliquely, which is a bloody awful way of communication. Relationships these days have much more mutual respect. In fact, it took me a long time to commit to a relationship because of the way that many women were in those days, and it wasn't until I found someone who was forthright and straightforward in her communication that I was ready for the next step.

Having children who are 18 and 20, it seems to me that women generally aren't abusing their new-found power. They just know what they want and aren't afraid to find it, or ask for it, or speak about it.

I must have one of the few good women left according to the OP; she makes me the center of attention, ensures my needs are handled, gets me random cards to let me know that I am the focus of her life, all those little things she does for me in her spare time.. I could go on and on.

I guess you get out of a relationship what you put into it.

Yes I have noticed the changes I think it's shit. Heres how I see it.

women have been complaining about how some men were treating some women.

The new generation of men grew up mostly amongst women (school teacher, mom,) and less men. Also, the media have had their fair share of men bashing. This indoctrinated the new generation of men into treating women differently then before, e.g. with less of the nasty things you described.

Because of this, men got more aggressive in relationship and women gladly took the opportunity to screw us over. Now they are the nasty ones.

This lead me to 1 conclusion only.

You be the nasty one or else she will be.

oy! what a way to think....sad.

i never assumed women were angels. what i was saying is, that the disruptive party, or prick if you will, was usually men in a relationship. now i just saw women playing the role more.

Broaden your scope of friends and your opinions might expand as well. Don't generalize from a small sampling....science, it's a great thing!

lol, but seriously, I know a lot of men that are 'assholes' just like I know a lot of women who aren't 'bitches' so I can't do this 'well it used to be...." I think cheating has been around since sex, and both sexes are guilty of it. It all depends of the PERSON not what's dangling, or not, between their thighs. :biggrin1:

yeh but look how much weve changed in the last few years even. the media has exploded everywhere and half the ppl dont even notice it. its in everything from Tv to the internet to clothing to anything we buy. and women are taking the hit the hardest because of social and media pressure. theres the big thing on fitting in and to do that you got to be a bitch who loves to suck dick. i just got out of a 2 year relationship and she has slept with 5 guys in 6 days. she does it because her friend is that way. and her friend does it because she wants to be like another girl. wheres the logic in this why would a girl want to fuck so many guys just so her friend will like her? im not just guessing this is what shes doing she told me herself.
