Not going to give details, but, over the years, I put probably $100,000 cash into the hands of talented, deserving and needy people, instead of the greedy, USA War Machine of the IRS.

When I lived in Canada I used to swipe food from Safeway and put it in the bin for the food bank before I went through the check-out.

I always buy "hot" from boosters whenever possible.
Such fabulous jewelry, and clothes, i've bought over the many years. Now if I could get S.P. to sell me some of those cigarettes!

I'm a surprisingly law-abiding citizen, for the most part. With that said, though, I don't recognize the government's authority to protect me from myself, so I don't recognize its authority to tell me I can't smoke pot (I rarely do anyway) or grow pot (I don't at present, but in the future, I'm sure I will) or distill liquor (ditto) or have sex with any consenting adult I choose.

On those occasions when I was driving from southern California to Arkansas and back, though, I have to admit that on some of those stretches of freeway (Flagstaff AZ to San Bernardino CA, Phoenix AZ to Riverside CA, and Tucson AZ to El Centro, CA) that are so flat, straight, and deserted, I did at times put the pedal all the way to the floor. I was curious just how fast my little pickup truck would go, and I could literally see 30 of the road ahead and behind, so I was really only a danger to myself.

I don't know if I am a criminal, but I did accept a box of Cuban cigars from a client who had them smuggled into the country back handedly. So I guess I am an accessory after the fact.

But don't tell the police. I've seen this movie before and the black guy goes down first.

Well, I have led a pretty criminal free life...except when I was seven and stole a stapler (yes a stapler) from a drug store. My mom found out and made me take it back and tell the owner what I did. On top of that I had to pay him back with volunteer hours, plus the cost of the stapler. So for each Saturday morning for three months, I did things like sweep the sidewalk in front of his store, wipe down shelves, and other simple tasks. The owner would also share with his customers what I had done so that sort of added to the humiliation! Lesson learned.

Since then I have received several speeding tickets (until I bought a radar detector), had anal and oral sex and a couple of weeks ago, bought an illegal version of a movie in the Bahamas (what the hell was I thinking). Got it home and it was poor quality (capturing the guy in front of the camera getting up and down several times during the movie) and not in English. I've decided that crime doesn't pay (hah)...

I've taken the tags off my mattress.

That's legal! You can remove the tags if you are the end purchaser, so at least on the end, you're safe.

Speaking of illegal, bliss has a webcam that's in my house because I tried to fix it. The damned thing stopped working after a month or two and she hasn't gotten any support from the manufacturer or the store where she bought it. I'm very tempted to buy another one, take the new one out of the box, put the broken one in, and return it and say it's broken.

I'm pretty sure that's illegal.

In which case, I will be a petty criminal at some point this week.

Ha, that's another example of government "authority" I don't recognize. I'll damned well travel to Cuba if I decide to, and I'll buy & smoke Cuban cigars if I want to.

Think "Tenth Amendment"...

I'll give you a charge card and a private yacht if you'll stock me for life on Cuban cigars.

not as big a criminal as I used to be, but the police don't believe that!!!
I smuggle a carton of cigs from one state to another every week for personal consumption, woo hoooo!!! but still illegal. I still smoke some weed from time to time, a friend grows some for personal consumption and shares with me a little bit) In my youth I somehow developed a reputation as a major drug dealer(I never was) and as a hit man for the mob(never was that either). I did hang out and party with some real bad mofo's for a few years, some mob connections there. when I moved back to town several yrs ago, the police followed me around in unmarked cars, and had undercover guys trying to buy drugs from me when i was quaffing an ale in a local bar( i told them Jesus was the answer). I was pretty much a guy who knew where to go or who to see to get anything you wanted to do or get done, but I kept myself on the outside, held a steady job, kept my mouth shut. some of the guys I ran around with are in prison, dead, or drug addicts/drunks. all pretty harmless, much as myself.

I smoke me a lil' dope (never buy though ... I'm a lousy friend that way).

When I was a teenager, I took my mother's Oldsmobile out on a clear stretch of highway, floored the accelerator, and, at least on the speedometer, scored 117 MPH. Which was roughly double the speed limit.

When I was 17, I was caught underage in a bar. Was taken to jail, held until friends bailed me out, and next day had to pay a fine of $53.50. That's $13.37 for each glass of draught beer I had ... and folks, that's criminal.:biggrin1:

That's just about it. Distressing lack of imagination here, I guess.

Although I'm fairly law abiding now when I was a kid I was part of what was more or less an organized crime ring. At the corner of our street and the next one there was a little corner shop of the kind that used to be very familiar to everyone in England, we all called the old lady who ran the shop Auntie Maggie, she knew all our names and those of our parents, she'd give us chocolate when it was our birthday. In front of the shop window she had glass shelves with various chocolate bars on, we'd go in and ask for a packet of salt and vinegar crisps, we knew these were kept in the stock room and she'd have to leave the shop and close the stock room door as the box was behind the door - leaving us free to swipe to our delight, that's where my life long love of mint aeros started. We never got caught which is a good job as our mothers would have killed us.

I've skipped out on paying some parking tickets I got with a rental car in other states and countries.

Note to self: If Earl comes to town, don't let him borrow the car.

I'm the gangster of love

:biggrin1: I am sitting here Ed with this mental image of you in a tacky poly leisure suit and a full on zodiac chain on. :biggrin1:

I rooted for the bad guys in Dead Presidents.

I never would have guessed you had a thing for Lorenz Tate.

I always knew you were trouble Rubi. :biggrin1:

I've got a rap sheet as long/short as my cock.

Length shouldn't worry you. Now thickness? If it is that thick, I suggest finding a country with no extradition treaty to hide in.

Let's just say i have committed a number of victimless Felonies in my past.....but have never been caught.

Don Industrialsize? I kind of like it. The Godfather of LPSG.
