my friends and i discussed this for awhile last night,we were both divided on it.i think it's no such sterotype(being a driver of all size trucks i've seen my fair share of horrible men drivers)but a few of my friends insist that women are guilty of this.
so i'm asking ALL the women on this site that drive..is this true?

Apparently the Mods think this is a legitimate womens issue. You've got to be fucking kidding me. We need more women mods.

He's asking women a question (you may not like it) therefore it's in the right forum.

And because you are unhappy, it gives you the right to bitch and be rude about it, posting to the OP like that, completely unprovoked?

The question says, Hey women, is there any truth to you being bad drivers?

It's a question, for women. Where would you prefer it goes? The adult website section?

Here's my thought. You don't like the question, just ignore it.

I think I'm a good driver because I used to drive a large commuter van cross country for work many years ago. I had that job for 4 years and had only one accident and one speeding ticket.

The accident occurred because I was side swiped by a woman in a mini-van who claimed not to see my large rainbow striped van. :angryfire2: The cop laughed at her as he wrote her the ticket for hitting me. :biggrin1:

I got the ticket for speeding through Death Valley. :irked: It's the fucking desert, I wasn't gonna do 70. I had a deadline to make, did he think I was gonna hit a cactus. :irked:

The ex-bf was a professional truck driver and thought I was a terrible driver. He was forever putting on imaginary brakes whenever I drove. I attribute that to the fact I don't need the length of a football field to stop a Mercedes Benz C240. :biggrin1:

If I'm a bad driver, blame the Germans. My mom has only owned Mercedes for about 30 years now. I learned on a MB 240D back in the 1980's. When well maintained those cars can stop on a dime and corner like they are on rails.

But this isn't the 'Ask the Women a Question' section. Granted that is how it is treated - but many of us get a bit sick of that. And there's been a bit of friction about it in this forum lately. So I totally understand P's objection to it being posted here.

When guys want to ask women to rate their cock shots the mods move it to Show Off but that's someone asking the women a question. An "Are Women Bad Drivers?" type thread is clearly an 'Etc. topic, if you ask me.

In which case the women posters on the board end up ignoring about half the content in the forum that is subtitled "A special place for women (men are welcome to participate too)".

No - P did not need to be rude about it, on that I agree. That doesn't change the fact she has a valid point.

Maybe the problem is in the naming of the section then? Perhaps it could have a sub forum for questions for women?(that area could be ignored by those of you who find it irksome).

I'm not promising that this could happen but it's your area of the forum. Why not start a thread to discuss it (perhaps with a poll) and I'm sure if there were enough strong feelings Rob would look at it for you.

I can appreciate you sticking up for her, Manly. I can also understand the frustration you and other women might be feeling on this site as a result of the fact that many of the threads in this particular forum are absolute crap. My only advice, is to just ignore the threads, as you've suggested below, in the hopes people will get the hint. I mean, we can remove threads and juggle them around, but as you've said, if the thread refers to women and poses some sort of question... it belongs here.

Things are being worked on behind the scenes to fix this, if that helps. That's all I've got as an answer at the moment.

I appreciate her opinion. I respect she's frustrated. Having said that, she didn't need to be rude to the guy. We didn't share an opinion, and then she went off and got mad because we didn't agree, making the comment. Wasn't required.

I did start a thread about renaming this section but the Mods and Rob ignored it.

    Are women horrible drivers?
    Are asians horrible drivers?
    Are Indian people smelly?

This is not a womens issue. I will post responses based on the quality of the question posed. There needs to be more women mods.

If you want to ignore what I'm saying go ahead, please.

I can honestly say that I have not seen it. I can't speak for the others. Why not resurrect it? Send a link to one of us Mods and we'll discuss it in the Mod forum. If you need a poll added to it just let us know.

I did a poll in the thread. Why should I resurrect it when it was ignored in the first place? The issue of renaming this section has been talked about since I've been a member here but nothing has ever been done. Instead, threads get reported, women post out of frustration at being taken for a joke, and nothing gets done.

And I think the whole "women rate _____" is lame. Rate this guy's cock, rate this guy's porn.

It gets old. That said you can ignore those threads and they will drop off. To make the point of how much of a joke it was, I posted "humiliate my box" as a joke in the "Healthy Penis" section of the forum.

and the mods moved it to the "Show Off" forum.

    So I understand Patch's frustration.

As is your prerogative so problem solved.

You don't even wait for a reply (which I have made already) You looking for a fight? Cos honestly I've got far better things to do and I can't be fucking arsed trying to talk with someone who's looking for an excuse to get shitty.

Or just tell her it's being discussed right now, as I brought the subject up when Patchos reported this particular thread. No point in keeping it a secret.
However, since only a few of us are on at the moment, it hasn't had much discussion.

Chill out. That was in response to Jeff Black suggesting I ignore the stupid questions.

I will continue to protest the mess that is this section because I find it offensive that nothing is done.

Then actually direct it to me. Might be easier to understand.

You're welcome to protest. Protest until you are blue in the face. I'm all for making the women's forum a better place. I doubt that MORE women as mods are going to help, if I'm being honest, but that's a different argument (we've had times where there were 4-5 females on the team and the forum was the exact same).

Just understand that the mods aren't going to agree with every single report you make, and when we don't agree, it doesn't give you the right to automatically run out and be rude.
