65% Dixie. Just under the Mason-Dixon Line

Except I'm farther south than some parts of Mexico...

HaHaHaHaHa

The test says I'm 66% Yankee, which is geographically true.

However, everyone here knows I'm a REBEL.

I hate having stupid people in charge.
And, anyone who disagrees with me is stupid.

HaHaHaHaHa

Thank you dear lady.
May I have another?

17% Dixie. You are a dude from Yankeedom.

Thank CHRIST!

(as if I wasn't already sure. But several of those responses I had no answer for..)

What the fuck is a "doodlebug"???????????????

None of the pronunciation for "aunt" fits how it's said in New England.

We say it ONLY ONE WAY: "AH' nt" never rhyming with "want" unless you say 'want' as if it were pronounced "wah' nt" as in when the doctor says "say ah" to check your throat.

In New England it's "WOH' nt".

I've noticed a trend in New York State through to Wisconsin where the girl's first name "Donna" is pronounced "DAH' na".

Here in New England that's how we pronouce the name of a person who mends the holes in your stockings "darner". We say it: "DAH' na". To residents in the Great Lakes regions it would sound like we're saying the girl's name Donna.

As to using Conferderate money, one of my grandparents has a few bills that have been handed down over time. They still have their marbles so they've not gone out trying to spend it...yet.

60% Dixie. Just under the Mason-Dixon Line

Can't imagine what it would have been 10 yrs ago before I married my Yankee husband. He (and living in various parts of the US, and especially now in NY) have had a bigger impact on my language and how I refer to things these days. Ah, by y'all know I'm a southerner by heart.
