I practice yoga/walking/hiking several times per week. Weightifting once or twice per week. Swimming whenever possible. It takes me 10 minutes to shower. 5 minutes if I add makeup. Hair takes the longest: 10 minutes with the diffuser to make it curly, 15-20 if I want it straight. 0 minutes to air dry. I pack light when I travel and am notorious for doing so at a moment's notice when whimsy strikes. I would consider myself low maintenance but I suppose that's up to the observer.
I assumed the question's emphasis was on how much time one takes to get ready but since we're delving a little further into the issue...
Most people feel comfortable in my presence unless they're insecure and think I should be as well. Good conversation comes naturally to me and people often say I have a positive outlook on life. I find joy in whimsy and much laughter in the absurdities in life.
I am much less "mercurial" than I once was, although I have my moments I consider myself an optimist grounded in reality. I realise that most think optimism is another word for unrealistic expectations but that's not how I operate. I'm no pollyanna. I'm fairly grounded, can see both sides of the coin, won't make a decision until I have all the facts at hand. Many mistake my easygoing attitude for indecision and willingness to tolerate excessive bullshit, wrong on both counts. My boundaries are few but firm.
I'm a designer so I enjoy the "good things" life has to offer, however, the best things in which one can indulge are absolutely free. Sleeping in a tent in the woods is just as fun as sleeping in a 5-star hotel.
When i'm on a date, I don't expect him to pay for it and always make sure I can cover the cost of the outing. I don't believe you can truly be a liberated woman if you still expect men to pay for everything. If he insists, i'll graciously accept and enjoy it. Experience has taught me that men feel more comfortable and secure with you if they know a woman is not trying to siphon all the money from their wallet. Gold diggers infuriate me as they perpetuate the myth that
all women are looking for a large bank account attached to a potential mate.
I love to dress up and paint the town red but can be seen getting my hands dirty painting, gardening, repairing furniture, even checking the fluid levels in my car (yes!). I appreciate spontaneity and curiosity in others since I have both in spades.
Some assume my gregarious nature means i'm simple-minded when in fact, i've many diverse, sometimes unusual, interests. Few people understand all there is to know about me.
I would say I make most of my demands in bed but I make my needs known, sometimes without words, and i've rarely had any complaints about those demands.
High or low? Your call.
