I appreciate everyones posts on this subject. But again let me state that I was focusing on the values of the person. I know that there are issues in the overall gov. and its programs. This may be an enabler to the values.
What was so crazy, reading the article, was that the woman in question STILL felt entitled to receive public aid, just because she was not working.
I was thinking "Hello?! You just got several hundred thousand dollars. How about you use that money to go back to school, or something, and better yourself to get a job and work, or maybe downsize your lifestyle some, so you can live comfortably on that money."
Obviously, old girl is so entitled that she can't even think that way.
/If I got even $100,000 right now, I would be a happy camper. But I wouldn't be getting any kind of Public Aid, that's for sure....
