This is just another example of how badly we have slipped. There was a time when many South American Countries were viewed as uncivilized and ruled by the maniacal religious institutions of those countries. This is definitely proof that things can and will change if people care. But, they will change a great deal faster if we start finding out which political candidates support people over corporations and their profit margins. If we elect the candidates who stand for what is right, it will not only happen faster it will send a very large message to individuals who still persist on living in the dark ages.
