I moved to AZ a few years ago and its been very entertaining. All I could do a shake my head. If I didn't have a house and family out here, I think I would have moved back to NY ASAP. There needs to be a serious purge and some fresh realistic ideas to run this state.

What the crap happened to Arizona? How does an entire state become so uniformly reactionary?

It was over run with too many out-of-work Texans and folks from Arkansas as well as a bunch of tobacco chewing folks escaping the Rust Belt States in the 1980s. If you notice, New Mexico doesn't have quite the same problem, nor does California. I'm serious.

Jan Brewer has vetoed the Bill.
Hurrah! Finally, a glimmer of sense, or the pressure just got to her, as all the sensible people seem to be laughing at them and boycotting the state.

I'm curious, do you or have you ever lived in Arizona?
No, but I've spent a lot of time there and throughout the Southwest.

Spending time here and living here are completely different. I've lived here for over 40 years and I can tell you this is not the place it used to be.
While I am glad that Jan Brewer vetoed the Bill, I don't think she was pressured into it, she's not that way. I didn't think I would like her when she took office, but I think she is ok and can hold her own.
