Women who like hair on men because it makes them look like men must also like male pattern baldness. Nothing gets manlier than that.

I like armpit hair on men. I think it's sexy. It's also one of those things that's different from man to man, and getting to see and feel the difference from one man to the other is kinda secret and sexy. I'm not a big fan of completely shaved/waxed pubes on men either, FWIW.

I think it comes down to the man's physique and overall ablility to grow hair on his body. If you have more of a gym body you can get away with little/no hair on your chest, back, groin, arm pits, legs, etc. Body builders are, for the most part, smooth everywhere.

Also if you have patchy hair growth (ie: not a Wooley Mamoth) it looks better to take it off as apposed to leaving it on. If you are a hairy beast it would not be worth the hassle.

I myself shave most of my body (chest, back, pits, and groin) because I'm a patchy grower, my physic can support it, and my wife likes it. If I could I would do laser treatments to have it perminantely removed but would cost thousands of dollars. Don't mind spending the 10 minutes a day to take it off (just slightly stubbly in the morning).

To each is own on this but this is what I prefer...

I trim it down because it makes deodorant work better. If you got a big mop of hair in there the deodorant can't get to the skin and do its job correctly. So, I suppose those who like a man with a huge bush under there also like the smell of funky man b.o?

come on people, get REAL! a day will come...maybe 1000 years from now, and we will need to get use to it. why all the artificialism? we STINK, and we're HAIRY! i don't like the stink so much, but i love the hairy (men and women). o.k., when i graduated highschool, uncut dick was disgusting! what happened? i have no clue, but now it is BONUS!!! hairy backs were gross, now they are hott!! girls were girly and not men, but will very well become HOTTIES!!! i'm guessing...

my point, STOP SHAVING!!! i do pluck the grey...any thoughts?

I have never shaved my armpits. I have pretty hairy armpits but nothing else below the neck really grows much hair besides the pubic area. However I have never had any complaints about it. I have had people make jokes like it looks like I have a toupe tucked under my arm. But it never seemed to bother any girls I have been with.

Give us an armpit pic, please!

I say, "Do what makes you or your partner happy!"

Have never done it, but it doesn't sound so odd to me.

I personally love the natural look there... and smells. Very erotic.

I trim (not shave) it every few weeks when it gets over an inch long. I started doing this in my early 20's when I realized deodorant wouldn't actually get onto my skin with a thick load of hair there. And yes, I still have that manly smell there that some women love, just not total body odor. I naturally don't have any hair on my chest or back, but nice skin and a "gym body", so I think I look better with it trimmed.

I think it looks odd when I see a guy with a big bush growing from his armpit. It makes me think he's not too aware of his own body or doesn't care about his hygiene in general.

I say every guy should try trimming it for a little while. If you don't like it, you can always just let it grow again.

My wife prefers it if I shave or wax my arm pit hair. I know that it is becoming more acceptable for men to shave their armpits but what do you women really think.
If you and your wife both like it, do it. Why in the world would you even care about what anyone else likes, or what is "acceptable" regarding your pit hair?

i've always been a lil hairy under my arms, would never shave it off though, you'd look silly. A grown man with no body hair!! I can understand guys trimming and shaving their chests, but under arm hair... no way. It's ok to trim it so it looks tidy and neat, but never shave.

Exactly!! The same testosterone that causes men to have hairy bodies can also cause male pattern baldness. So what?

I love hairy men!! Don't shave anything!!

The only hair I shave (with the exception of some of the hair on my face) is on my shaft - I've done that since a g/f complained that the additional friction it caused left her a little sore after a couple of good rolls around the bedroom. I'm not that naturally hairy though - hairy enough to show I'm post-puberty, but not much more. The fact that it is a light shade of red also helps I guess...
