If I put mine up in a good pair of boxer briefs or a jock, it stays there. Maybe it is a function of my girth, but the only times I have problems is when the pouch is too small, then my entire package is pushed straight down to my taint. Balls don't belong touching my hole. They belong front and center with penis straight above.

The only exception is with a low rise waistband, then to keep from poking out the top, I rest my penis to my right at about the 10 o'clock position.

There are times when an occasional adjustment is necessary. When I ride my bike, the penis has to be lifted up away from my balls while I pedal, or it becomes uncomfortable. I've often pondered and occasionally asked about this term "junk." It seems disrespectful to the part of the body we love most, doesn't it? "Bits" seems diminishing and derogatory. "Equipment" is a little sterile.
Cock is good because it's so recognized and the percussive "K"gives it some, erm thrust. "Dick" is a little more humorous or even immature. (Note that we never say, "C'mon man. Don't be a cock. Lend me your car." We say, "C'mon man, Don't be a dick."
If we approach this poetically, these nuances emerge.
