I really can't figure this out. Just how small are the toilets in America exactly? Just measured my Australian spec one... 11" straight down to the water from the seat. American toilets must be so low.. or I'm really not understanding something here.

fellas you have to adjust the water level,the valve is on the back of the toilet,my 13 year old was having the same problem ,i showed him .its all good lol .I do alot of contruction work ,my issue is the port o john ,the water stains my penis.lol

There are some toilets that have very shallow bowls or a lot of water. The depth to the water can be about 5 inches more or less. More often for me it is my balls getting wet.

As someone else pointed out. It is such a tough problem to have. :biggrin1: Or would you rather be the guy who doesn't get wet.

The problem with most commercial toilets is that the valve delivers a set amount per flush and this is not adjustable. The only way to adjust the water height is then changing the bowl shape.
