Ask a Black Girl Anything . . .
Step right up and ask those questions you've been wondering about black women and black culture for years.

I'm a black American woman, all my answers will be from that view point. Don't ask me about why your African or Carribbean girlfriend does 'xyz' cause I don't know.

DISCLAIMER: I'm 42, not 19 so if you ask a stupid question, you may get a stupid answer. :biggrin1:

I'm sure I will live to regret this, but it's late and I'm bored.
With apologies to Dumb Cow and others for adapting their thread titles.

Are black women really more bossy than other races? Also, why do they have the stereotype of being so irrational and violent or powerful and frightening? Do you percieve most women of said race acting in such a manner?

No, everyone knows that Asian and Latino women are way more bossy than black women. :biggrin1:
Also, why do they have the stereotype of being so irrational and violent or powerful and frightening?
Huh? I think you are confusing black women with the media portrayal of black men.

Do you percieve most women of said race acting in such a manner?
No, I do not. Perhaps, there is a class distinction which leads to the unpleasant traits you have listed above?

Is it true that once you go black, you never go back? (sorry, just had to ask it)
Nope, never say never. I haven't been with a black man in over 20 years but that doesn't mean I never will again.

why do black women have such a hard time maintaining their hair? i've always wondered this because my black friends say they're jealous of my super straight hair.

This is an excellent question and one I was hoping someone would ask. Unfortunately it's 5:00 EDT and I am falling asleep at the keyboard. I promise to answer your question in a few hours after I get some shut eye.

Basically, it's a matter of our hair having a coarser, thicker texture. In order for our hair to be styled numerous chemical processes are often required.

Do black women taste more like lickeritch or chocolate ?
Chocolate :biggrin1:
