FUnny you would mention this. I have found that many young women out here do not want to hear anything the generation above them has to say. A perfect example was a young women that my mother and I saw stepping out of a man's car with her jeans unzipped to the point that it left nothing to the imagination. My mother was outraged but I told her not to say anything. She rolled down the window of my car and called the young woman to her. The response was "Look you old bitch mind your own damn business! " What could I say? I had long since given up on talking to most of the rank and file young women out here for fear of violent reactions. THought it takes a village it also takes meds and some of us are not taking out medication on a regular basis.

Oh my! I am so glad your mother handled herself with dignity. She could have come out of a bag on that girl.
What would that have served. She just prayed for her. Obviously the young woman had problems.
I thought she was supporting Obama because he's her senator and she likes his politics. Oh yeah, and they are both black. :tongue:

i have a question: why are there so many white people making racist remarks on the internet? i've been to sites that cater to many other nationalities and i don't encounter one percent of the racist remarks i see on predominantly white sites. are white people just that much more racist than others?

Does anyone have an opinion about Jesse Jackson calling African Americans "niggas". Clearly most aren't. Do you think his apology was just politicly driven.
Of course it was politically driven, when a useless sack of flesh and bones reveals itself to be sinister, hypocritical, and racist, it HAS to apologize to save face.
Do you think he should have his title of reverand stripped from him? Or asked to step down?
