There is nothing like a nice short biscuit. My grandfather used to make the best biscuits I ever tasted. I really wish I had paid better attention. But I did get most of the other family recipes.

Sadly, the list of things my grandparents did which I wish I had paid attention to and learned myself is too long to list here.

I just finished Thief of Hearts by Tess Gerritsen on Monday. I didn't enjoy it which is odd. I've loved everything she has written thus far. I think because she tried to make a romance out of what should have been a suspense or mystery made it a slow read for me.

Last night I started, Mistress of the Art of Death by Ariana Franklin. I'm not familiar with the author but it was only $4 on the sale rack at Border's last month. :tongue:
