Ask a black girl ANYTHING!

Black girl....

1) Do you feel black civil rights and gay civil rights are analogous? (Coretta Scott King suggested they were part of the same struggle)

2) Because of cultural sterotypes, do you ever feel the least bit self-conscious eating fried chicken or watermelon out in public?

Thank you, Black Girl

Do you like big, veiny, white dicks?
I dunno, I have never had a big veiny dick.

Analagous is a good word for this because they are similar yet different.

Yes. When I was in grad school I did a semester in Italy with the University of Georgia. There was a street fair and a vendor sold slices of the sweetest juiciest watermelon I had ever tasted. My roommate and I talked, giggled, and ate our watermelon as we strolled the piazza. Suddenly I stopped, and said, "Oh my God! I am a walking stereotype." Well this made her laugh even harder. :lmao:

Being a Jersey girl you must like scrapple....No?
No. :puke: My mom does though, she's from Philly. I thought scrapple was Amish or Pennsylvania Dutch in origin? As a Jersey Girl I tend more towards the classic 'pork roll, egg, and cheese on a kaiser roll.'

Philadelphia Scrapple

  • 2 pounds pork shoulder (or pork butt)
  • 1 whole fresh pork hock
  • 2 cups yellow cornmeal
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne
  • 1 teaspoon sage
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon white pepper
  • 2 teaspoons black pepper
Cut up pork shoulder (butt) into 2 inch chunks. Place the pork chunks, pork hock, sage and cayenne in a stock pot and cover with water. Simmer for about 2 to 3 hours or until meat falls apart. Drain and reserve stock.
Pull meat from bone and chop all the meat with a knife or food processor, being careful not to grind it too fine. Set aside.

Measure 5 cups of stock and return to pot. Bring it to a simmer; add meat, cornmeal, salt and peppers, and stir constantly until thick and smooth, about 15 to 30 minutes.

Pour mixture into 2 loaf pans and refrigerate until completely chilled. Un-mold scrapple. Slice and fry until golden brown and crisp on both sides.

Makes 12 servings.

Nutritional information per serving: 265 calories; 14 g fat; 15 g protein; 18 g carbohydrates; 54 mg cholesterol; 583 mg sodium.

Yeah I'm pretty sure you're right about it being Penn/Dutch, but every diner that I've been to in southern Jersey has had scrapple on the menu.

Sooooooo good.

that is NOT what's really in scrapple!
the first 5 letters actually tell the story...
I used to eat the stuff until one day when I was about 10 or 11 I read the ingredients on the package...
when I saw that it contained hearts, lips & other crap I was off the stuff forever!

:yuck: You eat that stuff? And here I thought you were a sophisticated man of the world. It's on the menu in South Jersey because Philadelphians moved there and bought that gross stuff with them.

:lmao: My dad is a Jersey farm boy and he won't eat scrapple either. He says they put everything but the snout, the tail, and the squeak in scrapple.

She looks okay to me. What did she look like before?

Well it says on this link thing that you posted;

Cinnamon is an 8-month-old, 12-lb. female with a full tail. She is a high-energy puppy who was found as a stray and rescued from a high-kill shelter just one day before she was scheduled to be euthanized! She loves to play with other dogs but really likes to have her people nearby, as she loves affection and attention
