LOL. I always make it a point to enter Germany via Holland.

Is Düsseldorf really the most boring city in Germany? I've looked around and haven't found a more dead place yet. Although I've never been to Bonn...

Well, never been to Düsseldorf but Kaiserslautern is boring like hell. Although hell could be fun. It's always warm there. Bonn used to be interesting when the government was there.

Why do male German tourists usually wear black dress socks and sandals in the summer?
Is it okay to drink a Riesling with Spaghetti and meatballs?
What's the deal with spaetzle?

I have German many years learned. That is the reason, why I English so good write.

I'm impressed. If you translate that one word by word the grammar is absolutely correct. So tell me something in German

Hum, I don't know about others but in summer i walk barefoot all the time. Sandals + socks is a no go in my opinion.
And I'm no gourmet either, I drink and eat what I want. Fuck it when others say it doesn't match.
Well the real Spätzle are homemade noodles made of flour, warm water and eggs. They simply are delicious.

Dann ich würde haben zu schreiben etwas auf deutsch gebrauchend englische Syntax, und niemand außer dir würde wissen, daß die Grammatik wäre falsch. :yuck:

My favourite beer is Kölsch and Karlsberg (not to mix up with Carlsberg ^^). The older generation often drinks beer for dinner. And we have a tradition (not a real tradition but lots of guys do it) to drink (lots of) beer at sunday morning called Frühschoppen (not at home btw).
Basically yes, almost every single town has at least one brewery. Even some villages do.

I heard about Knut in the media but couldn't care less. I hate such commercial crap. Of course that lil fellow is cute but travel 600 miles to see it? Naaah.

Who the hell is Thomas Doerflein?

Didn't see Valkyrie yet. If you were speaking of the topic I don't care.
I'm born in 1983, that's almost 40 years after WWII. So what do I have to do with the things happened back then? I don't feel guilty for crimes committed by other people.
I did like Inglorios Basterds btw. :biggrin1:
Although the generalization in this movie that every German soldier was a Nazi is utter crap. The men back then had the choice to be a soldier and fight or to be executed. No hard choice I guess.
