So are most men who dress and groom themselves in an androgenous fashion gay or are most heterosexual?

Dors androgeny have anything to do with sexual preference, or is it more a social/fashion style like being goth or punk?

How do your folks feel about your androgeny? I ask because, I have a gay friend whose dad never liked his only son being gay; but eventually sorta accepted it. However, his dad never quite got over his son experimenting with a black girl in high school. To his Italian, cop dad it was better his son be gay and date Italian men then to be straight and date a black woman.

Well, androgyny isn't something you can obtain. You're either born with an androgynous look, or not. You could dress up Sylvester Stallone in a cocktail dress, put a crap load of make-up on him, and give him 7 inch stilettos and he'd still look like a guy, only in drag, lol. Androgyny is when a guy or a girl can dress up in the opposite sexes clothes and such and look like the opposite gender of what they really are without hormones or gender reassignment surgery.

Androgynous guys can be gay or straight. I've know a lot of girly looking men who have been 100% straight. They're out there.

My folks are pretty good about it. My mom doesn't care at all, in fact she loves having a gay son that she can go shopping with and stuff, lol. My dad is somewhat in the middle. I never really was close with my dad, but he always tells me he just wants me to be happy no matter what. And as for the whole dating different races, if I dated black guy, my parents wouldn't care, lol. We're huge racial mutts, so it's all good, lol.

Hello Mr AM, I see that you are 20, which is still quite young, how do you think you would feel if when you got a little older you were to develop more masculine features?

Well, I hope I don't change that much, because I kind of like the way I am now, but, who knows how I'll feel in the future. I guess only time will tell.

That's a good question. Back hair often doesn't develop until the late 20's or 30's. :yuck: then again I think you mentioned being of Asian descent? Many Asians don't have much in the way of body hair. So you may have dodged a bullet. :biggrin1:

don't have a question but wanted to state that you look more masculine than feminine. sorry if I offended you :)

Not offense at all! But I'm actually quite shocked. I think you're the first person to ever tell me that on this website! And for the record, I'm not trying to look feminine at all, that's just my face.

how old were you when you began your androdynous lifestyle?

are your family and friends supportive of your choice to be androdynous?

do you do your eyebrows, manicures, and pedicures?

what's the easiest way to put on mascara without getting it all clumpy? (since you went to cosmetology school i figured i'd ask.)
