Because Italian mothers love to take care of their boys. Even after marriage, the Italian mothers take care of their sons. If you're pampered your whole life, are you going to give that up?

As to bling bling accessories, that seems to be a New York/New Jersey thing. Most of my relatives wear a watch, a ring or two and that's all.
Maybe we're just not flashy enough in my family.

Hootie: I can speak cock, but since I am not into talking alone, I prefer speaking pussy.

220483: living with parents is a part of our tradition, and of course we also love being pampered :) . Also consider that rental prices here are smply unaffordable for a young worker.

Glitty accessories were a thing of the past, more commn between Italian expats now. Mainland Italans, especially in te north, gave it up. In Italian a guy full of glitty accessories is called "tamarro", dispregiative.

Avg_Joe: either I was pulled out of my mum by my cock, or I chose the right genes :-D WAIT! Could it be that I have been pulling this sausage in at least daily jerk off sessions for the last 16 years??? :-D

I can sustain a conversation in Venetian, Italian, English, French, Spanish and German.

I speak a little Hebrew, Russian and I understand Catalan.

I had no clue about Venetian language???

Where did you learn so many languages? Is your proffesion linked with the translation or languages somehow?

Vinylboy, I have really no idea... Italian women are hot because they have an inner power of seduction.

maestro071, venetian is a language, with its own literature and traditions. Italian government insists it is only a dialect, but that's not true.

I speak several languages because it is my passion. Now I am learning Russian.

I don't think I look Italian in the least, but it's not unusual for strangers to come up to me and start conversations or ask for directions in Italian

The gym I workout at, near a local university, has an Italian soccer team that works out in there as well, and I've noticed they sometimes look at me from a distance with a quizzical look on their faces

If I wanted to break the ice, what would be a cooler expression than the usual buona mattina? (I've only learned Italian from courses, and only rarely use it professionally)

Maestro, English mothertongues do not need to know many languages. And yes, Venetian is a beautiful and cultural language, we have poetry and theatre.
Verification pic: I have never thought about it, should I?

Massive: no, as far as I know, indeed I have quite a long an thin neck. Southerners do tend to have shorter necks, but nothing particular.

Nick, the most polite expression is "Buongiorno", but "Ciao" is more informal and suitable in a young conversation. We often use also "Come va?" wich means "How is it?"

I am from Venice.

Yes, I drove around my country quite a lot. There is much to see however, there is an art city every 20 km, so I have not even seen half of the treasures of my homeland.

Hey, I just love Montreal!
