IMO anything that requires both Splenda and Eggbeaters usually tastes lousy.
Ahhhh, but you dont know all of the magic ingredients, grasshoppa. I have made desserts with these and not told family members at gatherings and they were quite surprised when I let them know that they had not just cheated on their diet! LOL!It would be great if we could just stick to the original recipe, but I think this a good way for folks not feel deprived when they have to make lifestyle changes for health reasons. I would rather have them than the food but we can have both, more the better!

Ok don't ask me why, but a few years ago I bought a full length mink coat ( I think mostly to piss off the PETA people) meanwhile I never wear the damn thing. I was thinking about turning it into a fur lined trench coat. Any thoughts?
NO! you should keep the fur and fabulousness on the outside! You know I can really see that you should have been born during the Restoration . YOu would have looked marvelous as one of those divinely dressed male peacocks of Charles II's court. You definitely have the legs for it and there would be no stuffing of the breeches either. D, it just isnt fair!

I'll think about it. I've worn it to a couple of events, but I feel like a blonde pimp when I wear it! It's supposed to be really cold this winter, so maybe I'll adjust.
I hear you. YOu know actually the fur would really heat you up as the lining though... If you do decide to transform your coat take a pic with you in it in its original state. I would love to see what a blonde Superfly looks like! :biggrin1:

No, if you already have you menu set. Getting a bit at a time and freezing it will save you a lot of hassle. Save the fresh things for the week of Thanksgiving.
Well,
As the family has shrunk we generally go over one of my aunt
s houses and the whole family shows up and brings something. But we usually have a myriad of meats (Turkey, Ham,venison, roast beef, ribs) multiple stuffings (Wild rice and Cornbread), freshly made rolls,fresh Kale and collards, sweet potato casserole, okra, corn, green bean casserole, macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes, giblet gravy, green salad, apple,sweet potato, coconut/lemon,pecan, blueberry pie, Coconut and pound cakes. Variety of soft drinks. We all bring something and every sits around and eats till we are as fat as tics. Sound good?

Freezing...are you insane? I was just talking about buying things like cranberry's and pumpkins and about five pounds of butter and ordering a Turkey. Thanksgiving is fresh from the kitchen!
Well then yes it is a bit too early since it wont be fresh by Thanksgiving. As to whether I am insane or not the answer is......:biggrin1:
