For the basics, la fitness works fine.
MMA style training, tapout gym.
Strength/powerlifting/old school training, madhouse is pretty cool.
As in the northwest area inside the perimeter or northwest *of* Atlanta? If you’re near Woodstock the Golds Gym on 92 is also a solid option. I personally hated lifetime. Not my scene, not my tribe, not my style. It’s super expensive and I hated the country club vibe. I don’t want a gym with a cafe or where families hang out. I want a gym where people pick up heavy shit and flip it off when they’re done. Just a personal preference.
