That Barr is owned and manipulated by Trump isn't really up for discussion. It's a fact. What is in question is whether the DOJ can survive this assault. If it continues to be corroded with hundreds of unqualified appointees, whose mission is not to maintain justice but to be loyal to the Republican party, and stacking the Supreme Court, the status of the republic is uncertain. It is being dismantled before our very eyes.
