As I get more and more lonely, I find myself more and more attracted to cartoon characters. Anyone else ever feel this way?

Li Shang the hero in Mulan and Mulan II is handsome; yet I never seem able to forget he isn't real.

I've noticed many young men and some women are into the cartoons as sex objects thing and I have to say, "I don't get it." I don't condemn it. I just don't understand how you let yourself become so wrapped up in something not real, which you know you can never have. To me that would be far more depressing than crushing on Chris Lowell. I mean at least he's from Atlanta and still has family and friends here. He could possibly come back to visit and I could sit next to him at Panera Bread at Lenox Mall. He would of course fall madly in love with me at first sight and we would get married have babies, and live happily ever after.:smile:

But y'all have no chance of ever marrying Jessica Rabbit, Race Bannon, or Wilma Flintstone. I just can't wrap my brain around it. It doesn't make sense to me.

Don't tell me love/lust doesn't have to make sense. A fish and a bird may fall in love, but where will they build their nest?

No, but when I was in second grade I saw a drawing of a boy in the Chitty-Chitty-Bang-Bang Pop-Up Book I thought was really cute.

The Advocate Magazine/ Donelan cartoons were a turn on for me in my late teens and early twenties. Beowulf (CGI) was really hot. And the FINAL FANTASY: THE SPIRITS WITHIN guy (CGI) the one with ALEC BALDWIN's voice. That character was hot.

Superman was really interesting though. I think that I like that whole Clark Kent/Superman thing.

A quote:

Lister: D'ya think Wilma's sexy?
Cat: Wilma Flintstone?
Lister: Maybe we've been alone in deep space too long, but every time I see that body, it drives me crazy. Is it me?
Cat: Well, I think in all probability, Wilma Flintstone is the most desirable woman that ever lived.
Lister: That's good. I thought I was going strange.
Cat: She's incredible!
Lister: What d'ya think of Betty?
Cat: Betty Rubble? Well, I would go with Betty... but I'd be thinking of Wilma.
Lister: This is crazy. Why are we talking about going to bed with Wilma Flintstone?
Cat: You're right. We're nuts. This is an insane conversation.
Lister: She'll never leave Fred, and we know it.
