Rates are under 10% from like 80's to today and that 10% is normally the ones required by religion etc

Sounds like most Hospitals will not without medical reason cut now adays but rates will always be about 5% due to the religons living in AUS

I am Canadian and cut as well. In our age group (depending on what part of Canada since Quebec and east circumcision has never been as widely practiced) it was quite common. A few years ago all the provincial health plans were changed to not cover circumcision. Since this change circumcision rate across Canada has rapidly declined - I have heard the Canadian circ rate is now around 10%. I am not sure how accurate it is but I would say that intact is now the norm (except for religious circumcision).

Were you asked what you wanted? Or was it just assumed they would be left alone unless you asked to have it done? Apparently it can be hard to find a dr willing to do it these days in aus.

If was offered in a private hospital when they were born 10 years ago.

Might be harder to find a Dr today.

Im 22 and im cut, my boyfriend is 23 and uncut, I know from recent family discussions about a new arrival and what to do with him that my lil brother who is 15 is uncut, my cousin who is 14 is cut, my dad is 47 hes cut, my uncle is 36 and uncut, and another cousin 18 is uncut.

Most guys i meet these days around the early to mid 20's, are uncut, i very rarely meet another cut guy. Does this indicate it started going out in the 80's?

I know now, that if you want ur baby cut they have to book you in for the "cosmetic" procedure, whereas when i was born my parents didnt even get asked, i was cut the day before i left hospital.
