It’s odd. I’ve always liked him, and thought he was a decent enough actor, but I never would have guessed he would have become Hollywood’s new It guy. I mean, good for him, but just a bit of a surprise. I guess it just takes the right role.

And I felt it was odd for him to be hosting SNL at this point... I wonder what this thread is going to look even 5 years from now.

Its not changed forever. He's doing it on purpose because it's getting him attention. He's marketing himself to stay in the limelight and get more roles. He's not "stuck".

It doesn’t make sense to me, especially if he is campaigning for the Oscar. Wouldn’t you want people to think you acted and changed your voice?
