I think that I tripped across this board approximately three years ago (if I recall correctly you had to become a member even to lurk.) I think that I may have posted 3 or 4 things on those other boards (and with any luck they have been forgotten.) I checked back every now and then, but refrained from posting much due to time considerations.
One of the things that I can honestly say is that most members donât suffer fools gladly. This is, perhaps, the reason for the relatively intelligent conversation that you will find here. It is also, in part, what has kept this board from degrading into a forum for competitive bragging. One of the interesting things is that much of the conversation has little to do with size issues. (Of course there are a few threads; it is after all the LPSG.) Many of the threads, however, are about relationships, politics, love and life in general- all things that do not require a big dick to participate in.
The board is made up of large men, average men and men who are below average as well as having a number of posting women. It has straights, gays, biâs and probably some undecideds. There are also blacks, whites, Natives, Latinos and just about any combination thereof (as well as all the others that I didnât mention) and the membership age ranges from the teens to well into retirement (it would probably be interesting to find out who is the oldest, and naturally, by extension, wisest member.
) One of the reasons that I like it here is that unlike almost any other board there is nothing that should hold it together- no common interests or traits and yet it seems to work. As was mentioned earlier, there is very little interference from the moderators. People donât always agree, but the tone is usually fairly respectful. I appreciate that I can come here, admit that I am a bit of a redneck, post what I honestly feel and believe and people accept or reject my thoughts and advice but do not âattackâ me on a personal level. There is a bit of a live and let live feel.
I think that my praise for the board and its members has run on long enough. My advice would be to read some of the posts and you will get a pretty good feel for the âcommunity.â
