"Self maintenance" lasted a few minutes when working with a few pictures. With the advent of so much video to "evaluate", the "unit" may suffer from abuse and over use. Never did find a product that "rejuvenates".

The older one gets the less time must be spent "using and abusing" the unit. "As much as one wants" slowly transforms to less than once/day. Then the time spent per session needs to also be lowered. Skin injury is the option - making further activity a questionable idea.

This all sux but "it is what it is". Or not?

A partner certainly helps in the friction department. Though back pain is a common side effect of serious indulgence. Especially if given to endurance and deeper strokes than some are able to enjoy.

How does the enthusiast avoid "friction burns"? Tried a timer with mixed results. Hard to quit when the material and mood are good.
