It was never confirmed that he was a white nationalist. The controversy started because he had a tattoo, I believe, that was from white supremacist circles. Yes my good friend Joey aka Axl passed away in 2015, he was a friend of mine for last 5 years of his life. I can tell you that he was not a white supremacist I never heard him say anything racist. We spent a lot of time together in the years prior to his death and we had a lot of fun. In June 2015 I dropped him off at a treatment center here in Port Angeles 2 days later he had me pick him up because he didn't like it there, I dropped him off at a friends place and that was the last time I saw him, he died in Seattle 3 weeks later. I hope and pray that he finally found the peace he was searching for, I am blessed to have some videos of him and I hanging out. I sure do miss him and his laugh he was truly a lot of fun to be around. I guess he will live on forever on the internet and I think he would like that
