We've all seen it. What do you think about being called Babe?
I voted: I don't like it, so I just shrug it off.
It's much much better than sugarcube.
I call guys & girls babe so I don't mind being called that.
there's only one man on this planet who gets to call me babe, and you ain't him.
No worries, honey.
from the right person, fine, but it's certainly not my favourite thing to be called.
Nothing sexier than "you and Me, Babe." Love it!
Hey super crayon take one vote off "It's alright and maybe acceptable from the right person. " I accidentally pressed it with my shitty mouse, sorry!
I am with dolfette on this one. It is a very intimate thing to be called an infant when you are grown. Unless you meant that gallant subby little brown-nosing pig.
I call men and women babe although I'm more likely to use honey. I'm very out-going and I like to connect with people. I've never had anyone object. (I guess I should also say I don't use it completely indiscriminately.)
By the way, crayon, in your case it's a more literal use.
Some girls do
Some girls don't
Some girls will
Some girls won't
My gf says she likes it. Personally, I had never used it before, I always thought "Love" or "beautiful" were great things to use as name substitution.
I'm fine with it.
I, personally, like master and commander of time and all that is.. more.
Context is everything, in this regard, no?
all you women that don't liek to be called babe keep out of the south ok, for your own good! down here women call EVERYONE babe and honey and darling, it is sort of strange for the first year or so thenyou get used to it
i once taught a southern boy a lesson for calling me baby up here in NY.
naa i dont like it, it seems really corny to me
it's only acceptable in my book if my significant other calls me babe.
