I had the black Baby Alive some 35 years ago. Saw the new version in Walmart a few weeks ago and was unpleasantly surprised. The black version no longer sports a cute afro which you can pic out, it's just molded plastic. :irked: She appears smaller and less life-like as well. I think they are using a cheaper type of vinyl which is less skin like too. :yuck:
