No. Too much gel, not enough oil. It dries quickly and you have to keep reapplying it. If you use baby oil as a skin spftener, you want a small amount spread over a large area, as the gel does. For lubricant, it's just not slippery enough. And NEVER use it with condoms.

That said, I rather like it for a quick tug.

The silicone lubes generally work best for anal. I'm strictly top, but we seem to have good mutual results with the reformulated Wet Platinum. Most water-based lubes dry out too fast when used analy, and oil based lubes are not condom-compatible.

I hated using baby oil as lube for anal, which was a total failure. I can't imagine the gel being any better. I think the best lubes are the ones made specifically for the purpose of lubrication-- Wet seems to be a favorite among a lot of people I know.
