I actually read a good chunk of this and it's actually quite funny:

It's very much tongue-in-cheek and directed to ignorant and self-righteous white people with whom non-idiot white people have problems with. Like good political satire, the humor does a good job of describing the truth. The brush may be a little broad, but it is accurate, insightful, and delivered with a wry grin.

There have been some rather unconvincing attempts to claim that this is a parody site, too. The only real rationale for the claim is that it's such an outrage that nobody, even the most disgusting race-monger, could possibly be serious. So mythical "wry grins" are cited, and the whole thing is dismissed. Ha ha.

This is hardly surprising. Racism is not just a white only phenomenon despite what the media tells us. As a white man, I experienced it first hand while working in Seoul, South Korea back in 1996. It was the main resaon why I broke my contract early and came home. I just didn't feel comfortable or safe in Korea as a non-Asian. At one point, my physical safety was threatened just for the crime of being a white guy walking down the street in Seoul. South Korea is an absolute shithole of a country (polluted, corrupt and extremely xenophobic). Nothing could ever get me to go back there. As badly as I was treated there, black people are treated even worse in South Korea than whites are.

There has been horrible racism against Native Americans in this country. Never hear much about it in the media. There land was taken from them and they never got it back (reservations don't really count that much).

The world is full of ethnic hatred as well (Russians don't like the French, the French don't like Americans, Germans aren't liked by the Italians, etc).

Well, when you're looking at it from the same problematic angle, it doesn't surprise me that you'd come to this conclusion. The reality is, some people do... regardless if they are, what you call, "Twiddle Dumb" and "Twiddle Dee". And it's up to these people to get together and spread that message regardless of where or how they "twiddle".

I take it you know the big picture? Please say that you do...

As a minority, we are not trying to take over your suburbs.

We're not trying to change your traditions. We're not trying to replace Apple Pie & Turkey with Sweet Potato Pie & Chitterlings as the food of choice for Thanksgiving. We're not trying to replace Santa Claus with Kwanzaa-Man. We're not pushing an agenda for Jay-Z to remix the National Anthem. We're not trying to turn your daughters into Welfare moms.

Anything else? Oh yeah... We're not all drug dealers or thugs. We're not all on government assistance. We're all not lazy, good for nothings that don't know how to work hard. We all don't get our jobs through Affirmative Action, nor are we going to use it to take jobs away from you.

Also, what is going on in the back of some of these folks is that Mr Whitey, the cracker, whatever I call me/him/it, is in dnager of becoming a minority....

and the white folks in this area deal with meth, Nascar and other stupid things.

The culture changes, and the images of the future look dim for a white bigot.

I love the humor injected in this serious subject, it shows that we can all get along.

One thing that puzzles me though is why are the apologies for cultural and entertainment things? Just asking because I was not sure if it was meant to be a joke or if it was serious. - I'm taking it as a joke.

Speaking as a Black male, there have been angry black men for years and a lot of them do need hugs. They are also probably the black men with little penises - I am serious about that.

The crazy people are getting the spin right now. You would pretty much have to have the backing of a country to kill POTUS in this day and age. Also, there would have to be a stronger reason other than just the fact that he is a black man. What credible organization in order to send a message would kill someone over race? That is not to say that there are not crazy individuals who are dreaming up the idea, but one person is easy to stop.

Like one other poster stated, it is all spin. However the spin that the Bush administration began with Karl Rove continues to prey on our strongest American attribute--our choice to remain ignorant. Intolerance is a lesson that has long been forgotten from WWII. Even after someone has been gunned down in the Holocaust Museum.

Basic Question: Why is the OP giving any credence to the rant from an extremist blog? It would be equally wrong for a Black person to use a KKK site and extrapolate that all Whites are evil. A very slanted opinion on a blog does NOT = truth! If White America hears hate speech coming from a group like the NAACP or from the "Black church ladies", then there is cause for concern -- but that hasn't happened....

As for the Obama backlash, I find that the cultural discontent with a small segment of White America is actually mis-directed anger. Obama may upset one's notion of inherent cultural privilege by not being White, but Obama can never be held responsible for the fact that the middle class has been systematically eroded away over the past 30 years. Let's examine why, since 1979, the tax burden has shifted to the middle class or why the top 1% income earners in the US have the highest percentage of wealth since the Gilded Age ... and we may start finding the answers to the country's socio-economic discontent...
