Sorry if you somehow found my comment offensive; I was merely lampooning the flippancy given to bad movies. Or maybe being an ass - but a self-aware one, at least.

Besides, everyone knows 'Nudist Colony Of The Dead' is a far more frightening picture

I can top that, and wasn't even a movie; it was when I was staying, reluctantly I might add at a nudist colony for senior citizens. You might call that one NUDIST COLONY OF THE ALMOST NEARLY DEAD! ;D

I know, I'm a pisser, but then again my parents didn't beat me enough.

Well, talking about dead movies, I still remember the

EVIL DEAD MOVIES with Bruce Campbell. Now those were some really bad movies. On top of that, the last one to be made in the series was ARMY OF DARKNESS, and brother, that one was more slapstick than horror. The battle scenes with the skeletons was truly fucked up. All it amounted to was nothing more than prop skeletons standing perfectly still while getting the shit blown out of them!

Then there was the Lon Chaney, Jr. movie, Spider Baby about a gruesome chauffeur.

How bad was it? Lon Chaney, Jr. sang the theme song!

gigantikok: I am a laughably-bad movie connoisseur.  I know of many movies that most people have and may never hear of.  One of my favorite and most inane LBMs is Fantasy Mission Force.  This is a movie that Jackie Chan made in the late 70's simply as a favor to the director.  They bill him as the star, but he really only pops in and out every once in awhile.  To give you an idea of how insane this movie is... it takes place during World War 2.  Allied generals get captured and a band of heroes must band together to rescue them!  This movie features:
-Ghosts
-Vampires
-Zombies
-Amazons
-Rocky (Stallone)
-Abraham Lincoln (yes, during World War 2)
-A song and dance number in Japanese
-Nazi's riding the backs of 70's junk cars like chariots wearing roman helmets and waving torches in the air while charging a battlefield to the infectious sound of Japanese pop music
-A woman inexplicably blowing up her own house with a bazooka she keeps hanging on her wall
-Bad bad bad bad bad dubbing, with a voice actor that makes Jackie chan sound like a rabid Chihuahua
-and so so so so much more.

You guys gotta check this movie out, if you can find it.  It is sooooo bad, it is BRILLIANT.  Single-handedly one of my FAVORITE movies period.

Dude, all of those movies were intentionally campy and the first two had extremely low budgets. If you took them at all seriously, then you missed the joke!
