yeah and this will continue every year

Every year some people will celebrate it and love it

And every year some people won't celebrate it and hate it

It's a process that repeats itself over and over again. As for me personally, I say it's stupid, but if some people can make this day special to them, then go ahead. I will celebrate it cause I don't want to risk my girl getting mad at me cause I bought her nothing... I'm sure she wouldn't accept a "I don't celebrate it"!

Good thing I'm still single, so saying SCREW IT is so easy

Oh I love Valentines day. My husband and I are going out to the place we met. It will be our 2nd year anniversary on Feb 17th. Not-Punny I wish I could bring you a giant box of candy and some flowers to make you smile that day.

I love Valentine's Day, even when I don't have anyone special to celebrate it with. The week beforehand just seems abuzz with love! I don't like the commercialism of it though, but I feel that way about most holidays. I do have someone special in my life now, but unfortunately he lives on another continent, and we won't be seeing each other this Valenetine's Day. :frown:

Fortunately, my wife and I both think it's a stupid holiday, so I'm spared the whole overpriced-roses-and-chocolates rigmarole. I much prefer surprising her with flowers for no particular reason over doing so on the day when Hallmark, Russell Stover, etc., try to dictate that I should.

I can do romantic with the best of them, but this holiday is all about $, not <3.

Thought you had a beau!? Does this mean there's still a chance for me?

lol but I agree. It sucks. What sucks is that no one will be sucking me on Valentine's day. It's always nice to feel sucked...

Not Punny -

how about if i come over, cook you a to die for meal, do the dishes, clean the house and do some laundry for you and draw you a candle lit bubble bath and hop in with you? would that make it a bit more bearable? : )
