Hello guys.

Am i the only one, or or there other guys with this problem?

It happens sometimes with me, when i'm having sex, or when i "don't sit good" , that my balls go inside my body. I meen: they really jump inside my body. It doesnt really hurt, but it doesnt feel really good. Is this normal?? It's not only when i'm having cold, but also when it's hot.

Thanks.

PS, my English isnt very good

This is not uncommon. For some men, the testicles never descend to an external position in the scrotum, and that is a problem. For some other men, the testicles are descended into normal position, but can retreat back inside the body (usually from either cold or fright - both can cause retraction). If it occurs often, you should probably mention it to your doctor. It's probably not good for them to spend too much time up there.

I can do it. They just pop back into the socket they came out of. It's normal, it would be bad however if you couldn't pop a ball back out. I've only noticed it happening when masturbating (feverently).

It's kinda cool.

It is a funny feeling when they're inside too lol one time I thought 'where did they go' :D

Scared me the first time.

One of my cousins had balls that did that disappearing act when he'd jerk off (good ol' teenage circle jerks!)

We called him Houdini.

No harm, JAKE, as long as they plop back down on their own afterwards.

There's probably not much you can do to fix it. Stretching your scrotum might help but there are dangers in that too.

Getting is probably your best bet! Mine used to hide a lot when I was younger but now they never disappear. It was an odd feeling a lot like Jake describes, sometimes it would feel good but rarely, mostly it was just weird.

I had one of my balls disappear on one occasion - man that was weird! :biggrin1:
not very long after I discovered - with endless relief - where it had got to...
it has only happened once and heaven knows why and how it got into that cramped space, could be I had been thrusting so wildly it had seen it best to 'seek shelter'

It sure looks like the normal range of balls being low or tight or popping in is a much bigger range than the tight views of some help services allow. After noticing zillions of sizes and lengths of balls and scrotums in locker rooms, I wondered, when viewing mine in a great range of sex play, how all those other ones would perform when aroused.

Doing some web surfing, the scrot tightens up and your balls pull up when you are surprised or fearful or aroused partly for safety and partly because the little guys are keeping close out of the way. Now, speaking from personal experience, the more aroused I become the tighter they pull up. Having exercised them to go in and out for personal play as a kid, they don't feel so funny anymore being here or there or hanging low. They sneak up tight and head toward the base of my dick on a straight path toward each side of the shaft where, at max arousal, they seem to notch in on each side like keys holding a driveshaft in place. Snug!

Normal arousal from ic or whacking usually just brings the left one up just inside but not tight, and it can easily flip in or out. Righty seems to not be as anxious to pull up. But when laying my hand over the package, thumb across the throat of my dick and fingers cross the scrotum and vibrating the hand with a few pressing strokes on the urethra area, I can really get them all tight up. Pounding with them tight really lights up the senses and continuing to rub warms the whole body.

Sure, if you have a problem with them staying hidden lots, the temperatures will lower your sperm count, but I haven't been counting or planning any family additions, and they only snug up when the game is on.

Let me know if this gives any ideas.

A tight ballzac can also be an artifact of a tight circ. The skin has to come from somewhere. It raises your scrotum and contents.

Check out some intact porn. Intact guys have a lot more skin usually and everything moves very freely.

The scrotum is amazingly variable so it can stretch out thin and loose and kind of shiny with no wrinkles but then crinkle up and even double crinkle to minimize surface area. From a limp balloon to a thick dried apricot typically. Unless you have someone down there taking photos, you really don't notice the changes. So there's nothing involved in this area with a circ. Different skin. And it's not the sack that pops em inside.

Separately, tendons run the balls up and down like an elevator, like when you tighten your lower abs. Sure, when the sack is tight, they are up, but they can zoom up and hide even with a warm, relaxed sack. Doesn't the government give giant grants to study this stuff so we don't have to spend time with our webcams when in the middle of the pleasure zone?

Sorry nads, the penis shaft and scrotum are not made of only skin, but underlying smooth muscle (Dartos muscle) and fascia (Colles fascia). Circumcision takes a big piece out of the middle. Refer to http://foreskin.org for a better understanding, then refer to the galleries of some of the guys on this site who are cut tight. Quercusone comes to mind.

Inside the scrotum, tiny muscles called cremasters regulate the testicles individually. Perhaps these are what you refer to as "tendons."

They cut out the middle half or so of the elastic skin system of the penis and underlying smooth muscle fascia and connective tissue. While there is a lot of individual difference, I reiterate. It has to come from somewhere.

I have that same problem when I go to put on a cockring.. the damn balls are very large and do not want to go through the ring, rather they pop up inside me... then it is hard to coax one or both back out! You keep feeling for them and they are just out of grasp. Does not happen at other times.. so no worry!

I have a different but slightly similar situation: I can push one or both balls out of the sack and into the mons pubis. [Definition: The pad of flesh covering front of pelvis which surrounds penis. Covered by hair near penis. Pron. monz pyoo bis.] Stated another way, I can squeeze the sack from the bottom up and push the balls out and around the base of the penis. If I let go, and I'm warm, they'll drop back down into the sack on their own. When I'm cold, they have to be pushed.

I've read that this isn't common but not especially rare.

Retractile testis--is it really a normal variant?
J Urol. 2006 Apr;175(4):1496-9.
Division of Pediatric Urology, Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital, Cleveland, Ohio, USA.
PURPOSE: Retractile testes are thought to represent a normal variant of descended testes in prepubertal boys. We studied retractile testes to determine their natural history. MATERIALS AND METHODS: We retrospectively reviewed the charts of 122 boys (mean age 5.4 years) who were referred for a suspected undescended testis and were found to have a retractile testis. A retractile testis was defined as a suprascrotal testis that could be manipulated easily into the scrotum and remained there without traction until the cremasteric reflex was induced. The boys were followed by annual examinations, which demonstrated the presence of retractile, descended (nonretractile) or undescended testes, and the presence or absence of a taut or inelastic spermatic cord in association with a retractile testis. RESULTS: Of 204 retractile testes 61 (30%) descended (became nonretractile), 66 (32%) became UDTs and 77 (38%) remained retractile. Of the 62 retractile testes with a taut or inelastic spermatic cord 35 (56%) became UDTs. Of the 61 orchiopexies performed 8 (13%) showed a patent processus vaginalis. Boys in whom UDTs vs descended testes developed were a mean of 4.9 vs 6.6 years old (p = 0.001). The chance of spontaneous descent was 58% in boys 7 years or older, compared to 21% in boys younger than 7 (p <0.0001). CONCLUSIONS: A retractile testis is not a normal variant. Retractile testes have a 32% risk of becoming an ascending or acquired undescended testis. The risk is higher in boys younger than 7 years old, or when the spermatic cord seems tight or inelastic. Boys with retractile testes should be monitored annually until the testes have clearly descended.

now someone please tell me during what part of circumcision is the spermatic cord cut? Also, if tightening of the skin occurred during circumcision, one would be able to assume that it in fact would make the spermatic cord less taught

BB99 you're so obsessed with fighting the Intactivists that you see battlefronts where there are none. I was only trying to help others guy who have my situation. THAT IS ALL. Your combative mind is reading more into what I wrote than what is there.

I didn't intend for this to be a circumcision topic nor do I want it to be. Goddamn it, if I had any notion that you would have done such a thing I wouldn't have posted my message.

Please reply to the topic, Steve. I learned a few things from BB99, although I bet the sample was skewed due to the fact that these were kids sent to the urologist for problems. Your note was helpful too. I haven't made an exhaustive survey, but everyone I have heard mention retracting balls has said theirs can too, so perhaps it is merely one of those things we don't get around to discussing much.

Interesting about the little muscles doing various things. I dont seem to easily lift one ball and then the other, but then I haven't practiced. I can pull one up inside by itself, but the other is less mobile. I have noticed temperature to make a difference in coming back down by itself, but more often arousal tends to keep them up.

You can get a lot of action out of your privates by simple muscle movements, like dick swinging if you're half hard. Mark Twain wrote a piece about a learned group watching a demonstration of a guy sitting down on a stand, getting hard and coming without any manual assistance. The conversation continued with conjecture of how this was accomplished. I don't remember how the piece finished up. Hard to find this x-rated Twain in book stores, at least it was some years ago.

The study was done in Cleveland, Ohio, USA. How many of the kids do you think were circumcised? Like usual, they don't find it worth mentioning.

I can put either of my testicles up into that cavity, whatever it's called. Maybe baseball can supply the name. Can't most guys can do this?

Interesting about Mark Twain. People are always interested in sexuality. The more things change, the more they stay the same huh?

Your amazing capability to misinterpret things is amazingly scary

there is no cavity unless you are pushing them up into your abdome which is unlikely

From my notes:
The testicle begins to form just before the second fetal month and starts to look like a testicle around the fourth fetal month. By then it has migrated down from the kidney and lies next to the internal inguinal ring, where it remains until around the seventh fetal month. At this point the testicle, accompanied by a small peritoneal tube (the so-called hernia sac), passes through internal ring, inguinal canal, and external ring to take its normal position in the scrotum.

So a retracted tests is pulled up along this path it migrates down.....the reasons are not completely understood (but im sure you have some stupid theory or unreliable website that explains what pediatric urologists cant explain)

To all:

Last night BB99 managed to push a button that caused me to "go thermonuclear". What you see in last nights message substantially understates how furious I was.

Later last night BB99 sent me a PM with his apologies and I've accepted his apologies. I want to put that event into the past.

It was not my intent to bring circumcision into this thread and I ask all participants not to mention circumcision ever again in this thread. Even if someone on "my side" has some credential clinical research that makes a connection. Leave it out. I don't want the circumcision battle drawn into here. Don't even mention the word.

I hope that's clear.

There's still some "radioactivity" in my mind. I will stay out here until it subsides.

Just a friendly observation. I have always been able to do it, my best friend can do it.

We'll get the research published soon and link it here for baseball.

It's just a little space up there in the pubis somewhere that they pop up into. Several guys on this thread can do it, some spontaneously. Mine probably would pop in there and stay there if I was really freezing cold.
