I have no idea how someone can even have enough breath to argue that Palin in unqualified to be Vice president, When Barack Obama has less experience than her, and he's running for president!!!!!!!

Not once has the leftist media brought significant attention to this fact. This alone shows how bias the media really is against republicans. And to suggest the fact that this new excitement toward Palin is somewhat reminiscent of an "AMERICAN IDOL" contest is hillarious. Palin has successfully run a city and State. Obama has done NOTHING, ZILCH, NADA!!...except give an arousing "american idol" type speech 4 years ago at the DNC.

Do i think the media or the left are guilty of sexism?? no. i belive they are guilty of the same shit they have been doing for the last 100 years, and that is trying to turn this nation into a socialist state.

These days, whenever I see or hear words like "leftist media", I automatically zone out. Same thing with "elitist / elitism", "Anti-American", "socialist / socialism", etc

Ok, Im not refering to the time that the US had a popultion the size of Rhode Island. I was implying History to mean "Modern" History, post industrial revolution, post globalism. In other words, the last 100 years.

But Alaska has such a whopping population compared to rest of the US?

He's done nothing but vote present on bills. He doesn't even vote yes or not most of the time. He's passed one bill. I agree, calling Palin inexperienced for VP is ludicrous when the man running from PRESIDENT hasn't even completed as much as she. Democrats are vindictive. They have to slander their opponent in order to feel better about themselves. I'll be damned if I let that man run the US into the Socialist United Stalinistic States of America. Go ahead, call me a racist for not supporting him, I'm used to it. Thats all you left-wingers have

Haha you're honestly going to tell me that the Republicans slander Obama more than the Democrats slander Palin?

Oh PLEASE. If you believe that, my love, you are blind. Everyone knows media typically sways left, and everyone else knows media typically pick apart the Republicans.

For example, Romney, whom I like more than McCain, was criticized for changing his beliefs from (forgive me I don't know the exact amount of years) 10 or 13 years ago, while nobody said a thing when Obama has changed his views mid-campaign (I.E- NAFTA). Yet, the media didn't crucify him.

Off topic some-what, did you hear Cohen compare Obama to Christ? That is just RIDICULOUS.

I never said it goes both ways equally.

I've actually seen more against Obama on tv, but I attribute that to the fact that my friend's family (who's house I'm at a lot) is Republican. So that is all the news they really watch, stuff that is for McCain (Except Colbert, sadly.)

I honestly don't care what someone ELSE compares him too.

Also, did you know McCain is actually older than the Toll House cookie? (Not that there is anything wrong with that, it just makes me laugh.)

There's a reason everyone criticizes the Republicans. Where have you been the last 8 years. Bush will go down in history as the worst president in US history! Go over history since 2000...we invaded a country for no reason, for starters. Republicans don't want to talkabout the issues because they can't back anything up from the past 4 years. "No experience" is a euphemism for "I ain't gonna vote for no (n word). I have never heard anyone's "experience" come into play since I was a kid (Eisenhower). It's the racist card pure and simple.

The Republican strategists dream up 'character issues' for every democratic candidate and the public falls for it every time. Bill Clinton, Al Gore, John Kerry and now Obama. They have nothing but character 'issues' to go on. If you actually looked at the past 8 year Reign of Error you would run not walk to vote democratic.

And yet the Democratic leadership chose the weakest and least qualified candidate in history for President to Nominate. They should have supported Hillary Clinton. If Obama goes down the Democrats just defeated themselves and keep letting supposedly stupid and/or less effective candidate beat them.

Democrats made the wrong choice in Obama. And there are consequences to bad decisions and poor judgment. You may just lose.

I posted this on another thread, but perhaps it belongs here:

Why is there even a discussion about experience? People are always pissing and moaning about "Washington insiders" and such...presumably they are those with "experience". If you don't want an old-style politician to practice politics as usual, then you are left with someone at least relatively "inexperienced". You can't have it both ways.

My objection to Sarah Palin has little to do with experience. I am afraid of her because of her apparent extreme right-wing views. And in the Charles Gibson interview my gut reaction to her was that she is sneaky and ill-informed. A person can be inexperienced but still quite knowledgeable and polished and be someone we won't have embarrasing us in front of the rest of the world.
