Hi everyone,

So I decided to give ghe Bathmete pump a try.
I have never used any type of pumping device before, so pardon my inexperience in the PE field alltogether.

Anyway, as I don't have a bathtub in my house (only shower) when it first arrived I jumped in the shower to give it a try. You can immagine by disappointment when, after half an hour of pumping, twisting, turning and-what-not :biggrin1: I was unable to achieve a proper vacuum and had to give up.

I have two issues with the Bathmate, so I would very much appreciate any input on your part:

1. When I insert my penis into it and press to pump the water out (I hold the valve with my finger and release as I pump) I still get air inside because the seal between the rubber and my skin is not good - I can hear the air being sucked in.

2. Even if I manage to avoid the air leaks the other problem is that my penis seems go get bent into an awkward position and starts pushing against the walls of the pump, preventing me to pump further and eventually becoming too painful to proceed.

Any thoughts or hints?
Thanks!

First be careful with pain being mentioned... you do not want an injury...

I use my bathmate in the shower and I think I can help you a bit. First take the "comfort ring" off, its the gray base ring that is installed out of the package. Secondly make sure you are shaved up fairly well, at least trimmed pretty short.

As far as sticking to the sides, its something you have to work around to finally find the sweet spot. I find being about 70 percent erect is the best formula for me. That gives me enough length to be off the ribs of the base and shoot straight down the tube.

I use mine in the shower too. I go in near enough fully erect and I agree with the post above me that suggests having a mess around to find the best position.

If you are going into the Bathmate with close to a hard on, you shouldn't get snagged up anywhere. However, I find that because I already am very girthy, anyways, the base of my dick can press against the rubber walls which causes some discomfort when in the tube, as well as some marking on my shaft. I found that using some kind of non water based lube, like Vaseline, can help alleviate this, and also makes sure that if your dick does get snagged up, it is able to slide back into a comfortable position quite easily.

Also, if you have trimmed and/or shaved your hair enough, the Vaseline can act as a pretty good sealant to stop any possible air leaks.

Keep at it, they're a lot of fun!

Right, exactly why I immediately let go of the pressure...

I cannot guarantee 100% as I don't have it at hand at the moment, but I don't think I have the "comfort ring" at all...

Hmmm, it makes sense, I simply followed the instructions stating I should put it in soft...

I keep my pubes not fully shaven, but pretty trimmed, but Vaseline seems like a good idea to have things sealed tight.

Thanks guys, I will try it again tomorrow... it seems like a lot of fun, so I hope to have some fun with it...

When I used mine in the shower, I would get a full erection, fill the pimp completely with very warm water, hold the valve so no water escapes, and then kind push your cock down so it points toward your feet, and bring the pump straight up, also try to push your balls out of the way,and give a couple good pumps at first(while still pointing downward)then a couple more about 5 minutes later, working up to 20-30 minutes per session.....this process worked perfectly for me...just an FYI I used the bath mate for over a year pretty regularly, and while I enjoyed the feeling, it did give me and gains at all(if that's what your looking for) even when coupled with manual exercises.

Right... so...
I gave the Bathmate another try today, and it worked like charm!
I applied some vaseline and immediately managed to get it right. I did have a small air bubble at the top of the tube but didn't think of it as a problem IMHO.

It was good fun, so I will use this topic to provide reviews. I see it as a "long term project" and will use it regularly (as prescribed), so i will post reviews every now and then.

Some things I noticed after the first session:

- I have to tilt it really high up in order to prevent the head from sticking to the tube, and without the strap it would have been very uncomfortable. Though "continue with the shower as usual while wearing it" - not a chance. I have to hold it a little bit more from underneath with my hand to keep the angle right. Do any of you have this issue?

- within the first 15 or so minutes after the session I experienced a slight discomfort (let's call it that) from the prostate area. Identical to what I sometimes experience after having 2 or 3 orgasms in a few hours or after a very long edging session. Anyone experience that?

- being uncut, and with my foreskin rather tight, when I reached the max. pressure of the session I noticed that it was pulling tight on the foreskin, especially the frenulum. What I'm hoping is that it would help get my foreskin a little more stretched. Thoughts?

Pictures would help
But yea it definitely helped mine.

Definitely keep hold of it so that the angle is pointing upwards a little. Leaving it hanging cuts off circulation. You'll learn how to shower one handed.

Get hold of a really thick and heavy moisturiser. Something with lots of vitamin E in it. Apply that after the session and let it soak in.

Oh come on, I can barely handle the bathmate alone, much less fiddle with the phone AND while in the shower...:biggrin1:
Very well I'll keep an eye on ghe progress with the skin as well....

No need really, I just shower before and enjoy the session later, but the moisturuser is a great idea as well, thanx!
