Hey guys, first post here, seems like a wealth of information. Starting pumping few years ago and have always used BathMate because I thought they were safest option. Recently upgraded to Hydromax model and for a few months was grand, but about 5 weeks ago I pumped (maybe a little excessively, or for too long), and when I took my cock out there was a purple spot on the shaft that was raised. This stayed for 3 weeks and eventually changed to a barely raised skin coloured spot, but it's still slightly there. I stopped pumping for those weeks but continued to have sex or masturbate most days. Two days ago I decided to very gently pump, without the hand pump, and when I took my cock out, after only two five minute sessions, the purple spot was back again although much smaller. I suspect it would have become same size had I continued pumping. I am now concerned that this is never going to go away as everything I read says it should have been reabsorbed within 2-3 weeks. Do I need to give up pumping for good? It sucks because I was making girth gains and enjoying the size difference! Perhaps the vessel thats broken is now too weak for pumping. Any tips or thoughts much appreciated!

I have gotten blood blisters on the head of my cock from pumping to excessively. Thought I knew my limits but sometimes I forget what they are. When I get them I have to stop pumping or anything else period until it heals however long it takes. Then start again but be very cautious!

Seconded. Take some time off, wait for it to heal, and resume cautiously.

I stopped pumping a few months ago because I got too cocky one night, and pumped beyond my pressure limit for a while. When I finally pulled my cock out of the tube, it was very badly injured - covered in purpura (bright red blotchy spots under the skin, which had pooled out from dozens of bursted blood vessels all around the shaft)

What I didn't know at the time was that this type of injury doesn't heal completely - at least not for a very long time. The iron molecules from those leaked blood cells isn't re-absorbed easily, so the leftover iron just stays in the skin, staining it brown like a splotchy tattoo, and those stains can take anywhere from months to years to finally fade.

Luckily, after months of experimenting with different skin creams (Arnica gel, Vitamin K, others), I finally found a skin product that's breaking down the iron and making the stains fade. So far, so good, at least. I probably won't be pumping again. I've been spooked.

All this to say, be EXTREMELY careful when pumping. And please use a pressure gauge, and stay within pressure limits.

What was the cream you used that eventually worked bro? I’ve got one dark spot on my dick on the shaft from one pumping session that was obviously too intense, months ago, and it still hasn’t gone. I barely pumped since but it gets darker when I do, and feels raised. Really hope there’s a way to get rid of it.

Guys this is a bit of a nightmare but almost a year later the spot is still there and it’s darker coloured than the skin on the rest of my cock. I don’t know what to do, it’s embarrassing to go to my GP about it but it feels now like this is a permanent issue. It feels slightly raised but not very noticeably. I’m now just really self conscious about it. I rarely pump anymore, unless I’m going on a date and wanna feel my biggest. Tried the Amerigel which sadly did nothing for me. Any other ideas at all? Appreciated!!

It’s simply a blood blister and pumping raised it to the surface. See a urologist, they can remove it. Many people get them trying to pump their scrotum before they realize it will happen (I know yours is not your scrotum). It’s really not a big deal, almost like removing a skin tag or mole. They will remove it, and after a few months, you can pump again. I would suggest you exceeded a safe pressure and be careful with that. You can tolerate more and more pressure as you get used to pumping. It’s common to continue to add more and more to capture that same sensation and at some point, it’s too much. Anyway, hope this helps and really a simple fix and procedure.

Non of us could or should give you advise, I am not a doctor and I suspect that just about all of us that visit this websites are doctors. So your best bet is to seek out a Doctor that respect the LGBTQ community in this case an Urologist. I was referred to an urologist as my penis too started to bleed although my only sexual encounter was back in August 2020 and it was only oral. My cock started to bleed the following spring after my Gallbladder attack. I had my STI test done, twice, and both came back negative so I am waiting for a circumcision. with the hope that the bleeding stops. I am uncut and when I pull back my foreskin I can see the hairline fracture where my penis bleed from and I showed the pictures to my GP and he recommended a circumcision so I am waiting so my friend and I he has to be careful when I get my blowjob or when he jerk me off.
