Purely perjorative. It's not a racial slur unless it relates to skin colour.

If "perjorative" were actually a real word, it would most likely mean "in a deceitful manner; lying."

I think the word you are actually looking for is "pejorative"... if the intent is "derogatory" or "derisive."

That's what I asked myself. A caucasian northerner could call a white southerner a "cracker". Are they being racist? Maybe we should label those as "regionalists" or some such term. :tongue:
