Yea, I'll always remember that because a girl I went to high school with said the same thing, except she'd never seen B and B, it was a laugh.
One of the things about the show that appealed to me is the theme of the boys being so stupid that they are incapable of recognizing how stupid they are and instead impute stupidity to others.

Fuck me!

About time old Mikey boy got back in to this.

Wonder if it will still be the music video format (Which sometimes was the best part), or will that be dropped now?

At Comic-Con, Judge said they will still be ripping on music videos but they will also be watching YouTube clips, MTV shows like “Teen Mom,” “Jersey Shore,” and “Teen Cribs” and also be watching some UFC fights.

We're big fans of Mike Judge...can't wait

They were before my time but weren't they really parody of the grunge / slacker counter culture thing.. which for the most part has since passed?

Given the presence of other more sophisticated adult orientated animation like family guy / american dad / the cleveland show.. i doubt their grunting over occasional music video interludes and cliched slap stickish type scenarios will make much of an impact with todays youth unless they reformat in some way.

Favorite lines or moments from Beavis and Butthead?

One that stays in my memory occurs when the boys are watching a movie in their driver's education class. The movie appears to date from the 1950s. Butthead says: "This is from when people were stupid!"

Calboner--- This is a great episode, just watched it the other day on MTV. That's a great part, but I think the best part for me was when they were handing in the permission slips and birth certificates. Priceless.

I was a huuuge B&B fan. Even played the videogame which for its time wasn't total crap. I am interested to see what they do with characters that I grew to love. They may be idiots, but their my generations idiots lol.

P.s. The movie was the best for me, hard to top that with just a poorly drawn show. I wonder how the drawing will be. First season B&B wasn't nearly as polished as it got later on, obviously.

Uh huhuh uhuh uhuhuh . . . uhh . . . What?

No, I haven't seen it. But I'm glad to hear a favorable account of it and hope to see it eventually. Is Judge restarting the series, or did he just make one episode?

I'm watching the video on line and I'm gratified to find that Beavis is saying "Fire! Fire!"

Edited to add: Later, they watch and comment on an episode of Jersey Shore. "Damn it! This is, like, one of those episodes where they don't have sex and they don't fight!"

Edited again to add: Okay, I've seen the whole episode. The boys seemed to me less stupid than they were in the old days. Still, watching probably shaved a few points off my IQ.

Does anyone remember a porn parody in the 90's called "Beaver and Buttface" that mocked this show. I think it had Tony Tedeschi and Buck Addams is it. I know a friend had a copy and we got a kick out of it!
