To be honest it's been a dream of mine for quite a while, and with the economic conditions in the 2 countries in which I am based at the moment (europe & africa) it's kinda becoming ever more appealing.

I have been doing a few amateur videos of my own over the past year or so and I have truly enjoyed myself.

I have a few questions if anyone on here has first hand experience?

1) How difficult is it to become a regular porn actor?
2) Are the salaries worthwhile?
3) how would one go about getting into the industry?

PS I'm strictly talking about straight sex (m&w), I am totally not inclined on any m2m action of any kind whatsoever.

I am a hard worker and very open-minded, and I really have a passion for the porn industry.

Any advice/comments would be appreciated:smile:

To be honest, it's not totally difficult to get into the porn industry; but to make money? That's alot harder.

See, guys get paid less than girls who perform because, realistically, the girl gets the brunt of the work and she sells the film more than the guy does.

What you do is send some hot pics of yourself to any company you want to work for or look up open calls on Craigslist or xpeeps or whatever.

You have to be:

a.) mildly attractive
Ugly guys only get in if they're hung.

b.)At least "above average"
Because most people don't enjoy watching average cocks bone above average hotties.

c.) In descent shape
The only time you don't have to have a flat stomach and shaved balls is when you've been in over 600+ scenes.

d.) Able to have sex for long periods of time
You have to be able to get hard fast, keep it hard for at least an hour or more and keep yourself from cumming in six minutes like you usually do (lol! Just kidding.)

e.) Able to be nude/ have sex in front of a bunch of guys
Because there's going to be at least ten other people in the room while you're being filmed, you have to be able to drown them out or get off on the fact that they're watching you.

If you can handle all of that, you'll have a pretty good time making porn...the only downfall is that it takes guys alot longer to establish their celebrity if they don't have some sort of gimmick. Regular guys hardly even get credited for their "work" for their first couple of scenes.

Why don't you model nude for some gay rags, no sex. It probably will pay better than working as a guy in straight porn. You just need 2 or the three things they are looking for - 1. Face, 2. Body, 3. Dick.

Then why not work in the mainstream industry, get a SAG card and do commercials!
