I don't like whiskey. Vodka doesn't have any taste (the good one) and it is just useful to get wasted fast.

Depending on the situation and on the specific product, I prefer red wine (eg. almost any Rioja, dry and full-bodied, never sweet), beer (eg. Belgian abby beer, wheat German beer, German helles...) or white wine (also not too sweet, refreshing young ones like Portuguese vinho Verde, or the Riesling German varieties).

Almost anything is fine. Usually it’s wine because my wife will drink it with me.
Regardless, it’s not often that I drink alcohol.

Sometimes I’ll go weeks or a few months without any at all. And other times I’ll have it a couple days in a row.

Whisky for me. I also enjoy wine and beer in the right settings. Sparkling wine has to be very good for me really to enjoy it. Since I don’t drink to get drunk, vodka always seems like a aware of space to me. But gin I enjoy, with a bit of tonic water; or brandy/cognac of course, again in the right setting after a good dinner.
