I'll admit it, I flat out do not like hearing it in tv/movies etc, and I myself will never *Ever refer to my man as "Daddy".

As an individual of Latina heritage, being called Mama or Mami isn't something that's never happened, but I dislike it as well. It's just not something I want to be called by someone I'm in a sexual relationship with.

It just skeeves me out.

If you enjoy having someone call you daddy whilst having sex good for you, man. It's not uncommon for men to get enjoyment out of hearing a hot Latina say "ayyy papi" during sex, so it's definitely not weird for many. As a gay man, you probably think me sticking my cock in a vagina is weird and unappealing, just as I'll feel the same about the type of sex you engage in.

I personally wouldn't specifically want a woman to say that to me, though I'd probable gravitate more towards not getting much out of hearing that.

It's not for me, too creepy. Strange though that 'baby' is quite acceptable as a term of romantic endearment. Pet names are odd, I sometimes call my Spanish bf pequeñin, which is far from the truth, and he has called me his churro, though I'm hardly sweet. Apparently in Spain it's fine to greet your friends in the street with 'Coño!’, nobody blinks an eyelid.

I'm 41 so I still don't think the word should apply to me yet. However, I have been called it now a few times by younger guys. The first time I thought it was weird, yes. I've gotten slightly more sued to it now, I guess. I still don't really like it though.

Actually not bothered either way, it's usually not meant in a "I think of you as a father figure" way but more "hot older guy" way, and since I have a beard and a bit of a hairy chest and I'm mid 30s it's not exactly an insult...

I enjoy it. It's difficult for me explain, but it has nothing to do with age and is a completely unrelated term when coming from your actual children. It is similar to a pet name, but it's one that shows respect as I take care of my partners needs and as a dom/sub dynamic. It can be used in or out of the bedroom. I like it how she will casually address me as Daddy in public, not overtly, but just to remind me. It's hot.

I use to hate it because they start calling my Daddy when I 33 and I was like wtf I ain't old and the girl was 26 so I was puzzled. Now I just roll with it and sometimes it can be cool when it comes down to the nurturing part of the relationship, but if you try to but sugar before it My poor ass is kicking you to the curve LOL

I have been called Big Daddy a lot for years. In the south, it can just be a term of endearment for an older male. Now, the ones who start at my bulge and call me big daddy bother me.

Not at all, when it is said by someone cute and about half my age (I'm 57).

Actually, I've embraced the name for years. When young men would express astonishment over my thick cock, I would say

"Oh, that? It's just a little DaddyDick. It happens when you get old..."
