Yes, but a Presidential election is not the time to make a point. We saw how that worked out in 2000.
Would you feel better a day after the election if we have President-elect tRump? Would it matter if they found that the Clinton would have won but angry Sanders people refused to vote or voted Stein instead?
What we saw in 2000 was the judiciary branch via the Supreme Court appoint George W. Bush, President.
The could/woulda/shoulda talk is just as nonsensical no matter who's name you use.. The primaries haven't even started yet and you're already addicted to tRumpitus..or tRumphilia..

I agree that it would be better to support the candidate who best represents our values but in the absence of that isn't it better to vote for the one closest to them who stands the best chance?
I doubt tRump will get the nomination but hasn't the damage already been done? To court favor with the base the majority of GOP candidates have agreed with or slightly disparaged his remarks. To try to turn away towards the center is going to be harder than they think.

Yes, but use your own sense of intuitive reasoning..Ask yourself why are Hillary and tRump saturating the media? Damn, last month, they showed a 55min. tRump speech in it's entirety! Remember TV is for selling stuff. Ever since the mid 50's and the McCarthy Hearings, TV has switched from an informative, intelligent, inquiring mode of acquiring knowledge , into an entertainment candy store..Too many big corporate sponsors cringed and complained at the coverage and commentary and threatened to pull their commercials..and without commercials, there's no TV..
Yes, the press and the rest of the media feed on Hillary and tRump..They're good for business..

I dunno if you remember the 1960's and the news coverage in those days of the riots and the Vietnam War, and the anti-war protests. Those days are gone.. Mainstream Media , Corporate Media , Governed Media, if you will, is here to stay.."Embedded" as it were..

For those wise enough to see it as it is it has no effect. Those two may be good television but they aren't all there is.Hillary was good viewing in 2007 but she was still defeated. Same thing could happen this time but the most important thing is still keeping the GOP from undoing the slight advancements that have been made. Does anyone think that any GOP voter would knowingly lose an election by giving their vote to a candidate that has lower chances of winning? They hold their nose and vote the GOP candidate. What matters to them is getting control. Turning the party to their twisted way of thinking can come later. Perhaps the Democrats should adapt their methodology. Get the White House and then work to get progressive ideas and politicians through.

Look at what Bernie's issues are..there's plenty of attractive ideas that appeal to republicans as well as democrats.
In a perfect world Bernie would get the attention he deserves but I think that if he isn't a candidate come November his absence won't affect the GOP. Only the Democrats can be hurt.
I look at it this way, a good showing from Bernie can have some positive effects. It shows that his ideas are well received and ought to be considered or implemented no matter who the President is.

Why argue about could be and should be?
How does the actions of television insiders equate to not voting for the Democratic candidate? If Sanders received the lion's share of broadcast airing but still managed to lose the nomination would that still justify not voting for the Democrat as basically a revenge vote? Once again voting your values is good but is that going to be okay if the GOP regains control?

Hey look, it's Ol Jj..lol

This Bill O'Reilly character is quite a douche, he says Bernie is going to take his house, but the FoxNew goon doesn't imply that as a metaphor but as a fact. Yeez, why does FoxNews even exist?

Fox news exists to further Rupert Murdoch's power mad plan to dummy down voters all over the world so they foolishly support his far right agenda and continue to consolidate all media in the hands of a single family. It is a vile disease on the world.

Hey look, it's Ol Jj..lol

Jesse Watters right-wing humor is derived through intellectual condescension. To Jesse's fans it's wildly humorous for him to walk around with a smirk on his face and ask the local village idiot "who's buried in Grant's tomb?" In the case of Caliente resort in Land o' Lakes where there are million-dollar properties and residents with post-graduate degrees in political science, Jesse had a problem. It was also mid-week when the resort's grounds were somewhat empty.

So he waited- and waited- until he gathered enough video footage from politically naïve visitors and stereotypically retired and wrinkled nudist folks for Bill O'Reilly's show producers to edit satisfactorily. At least Caliente's spokeswoman Deb Bowen came-off relatively well.

Ok..but this is a Thread about Bernie..

Boobalaa, I think you may be pleasantly surprised by Bernie Sanders in a few weeks. The media is desperately attempting to hide Hillary and the Democrat debate on a Sunday night when everyone is full of NFL football. Perhaps they believe Hillary doesn't need that demographic to win the nomination and the election. Clinton's not-so-secret problem is her virtual non-existent support among males, white males in particular.

The competition on Sunday night will not be the NFL, but CBS - The Good Wife and PBS Downton Abby. This debate was scheduled to be missed.
