Bernie Sanders is starting 2020 right where he left off in 2016. He just had 2 huge rallies this weekend in Brooklyn and Chicago with 10,000+ people in attendance. He raised $10,000,000 in the 1st week since his announcement and has signed up 1,000,000 volunteers. Is he the frontrunner for the Dems? What do you all think?

I think I want him to be the next POTUS.

The media doesn't want to call him the frontrunner yet, but in my opinion he kinda is. He's been the most popular politician in the country since the last general election.

I think his chances are pretty damn good. I am biased as fuck though, being that I've been a supporter of his for quite a while now.

I think McCain should challange Trump... his death is just fake news. Very sad.

I think Sanders should give it a second try. If the dems support him this time he could have a chance.

Sanders has raised a lot of money - all good. His organization seems pretty tight, but new polling suggests his socialist tag is working against him and his age is becoming an issue too. Voters seem to want a younger candidate. That will affect Trump and Biden as well. It's going to be an interesting trip.

Yes, the age could be a problem.

There was another, very young democrat, who got some media attention lately. How is his agenda?

Bernie will have to move left to be in tune with the Democratic Party now.

He seems an honest guy but he will be 79 years old.

He has no chance, IMO.

Bernie is the one who moved the party further left.

So, I have no idea where you got that.

Bernie says nice things. Unfortunately, however, Bernie has little to no experience in the all-important field of wealth creation and growth. Bernie has NO CLUE on how to help grow the American economy. And a healthy economy is a MUST in order to subsidize all of the social programs that Bernie wants to implement, such as free healthcare, college education, etc. Democrats should support someone who share their ideological views, but who also has real-world experience in the business world such as Howard Schultz or Michael Bloomberg.

I don't need you to educate me about the candidate I support.

I like Trump's deep, comprehensive understanding about how tariffs work.

You miss a point...
Public health care is less expensive. Even if Bernie would crash the economy, the public system still would save money. (And improve the american health)

Capitalism is what pays for all of the public welfare programs. Therefore, it behooves us to have a president that is experienced and knowledgeable in the area of creating and growing wealth so that they can help private industry to succeed. If we diminish the ability to create and grow wealth, then we also diminish public welfare programs. Perhaps some of you disagree with this concept.

This would totally disqualify Mr. Trump.
